Seriously, don’t buy it! For 4500 karma you only get some junk items that are sold for 1-10 silver and drops of liquid karma or swig of liquid karma, not nearly enough to replenish karma you wasted. If somebody had better luck, post it here.

I don’t think you were supposed to get as much karma as it costs back when you buy one :o

Got 1 obsidian Shard and 66 Unidentifiable objects. Spent all my excess Karma (45k). Be interested to hear what others got to see if its worth spending more in the future

Wow this is literally worthless. I just bought 2 and got 2 unidentifed items (which were grey) and a taste of liquid karma (worthless 1955 … that was with bonuses… so it was really just 1800). The other one I bought just gave 2 drops of liquid karma. DON’T WASTE YOUR KARMA!

So I spent 100k-30k(Obsidian Shards)=70k for Minipet+1g

Some people got lodestones.

people were posting in Orr chat, 1 person got 37 unid dyes, one person got some minis, one person got an exotic weapon, lots of karma items, and those junk items out the wazzoo. Seems pretty random, luck of the draw. But it is a use for karma just like people have been asking for.

I got a coruppted and a molten lodestone.

I’ve gotten five lodestones from it.

You can get lodestones, cores, mini-pets and obsidian shards.
And that’s just what I’ve observed in a 5 minute test.

Yea i brought 7 chests and got Risen Priest of Balthazar (account bound) hehe. pure luck i guess, about time i got something hehe.

I spent like 800k karma and got 3 risen priests of balthazar, 1 molten lodestone, and 38 obsidian shards.

Isn’t our current retail environment premised on the idea that you can buy something and then sell it to someone else for more than you paid for it?

Well I got the mini on my second box and a corrupted lodestone out of one of the next 10 or so. The mini is actually surprisingly cool, but I probably won’t be buying any more… karma is harder to replenish than gold once you’ve wasted it.

I know someone who has made a fortune pre-ordering “hot” or “desirable” cars and selling them for more than the list price by selling them to people who just can’t wait. In his case this has been mostly on Aston Martins. So your argument is flawed. And in terms of placing the orders, its not what you know, it’s who you know.

That is someone making smart deals. That is not a retail environment premised on the ability to resell for profit.

Well after 50 tries (which is a bit less than other one)
– 5 Lodestones (whoses 3 Charged) => ~10 po
– 3 minis (the same one, The priest)
– only 6 shard
– dozens of Unidentifiable objects (actually 114)
– karma that i reinvested (included in the 50 try)

I believe we can’t make any statistics right now, but I’m happy to have found a meaningful way to transform my useless karma ( I don’t want a legendary or wathever that need karma) into useful and beautyful gold

I made 12G off about 90,000 karma……..i think it’s worth it…..

I got an exotic mini, some shards and an onyx lodestone from a few.

Not sure how many I bought. Around 10 maybe?

The orrian box is just something for players to spend karma on

I did about 55k of karma. I got about 60s in trash items and then 2 obsidian shards and 1 oynx lodestone which sold for 1g and 62. My guildy got a mini pet, and another guildy got a charge lodestone. Both of those were within 3 buys of them.

i have opend about 40 boxes.. 2 charged loadstones, and i think 8 obsidian shards.. not to mention almost 1g worth of trash.. better then having 700k karma sitting on my toon that would have never got used before this.

Nice way to convert karma to gold (although they banned people for it earlier lol) and help lower lodestone prices.

I spent about 500k karma (1 mil, if you count reusing the karma I got back with booster/banner/etc).

I got: 4g worth from the useless junk
8g worth in lodestones
1 mini balthazar (after all karma was spent, I stopped after getting this, it’s all I wanted really :P)
40 obsidian shards

Spent 550k karma with recurring the drops and vials to buy more until I ran out.
Got
6 of the Balthazar mini pets
7 ish lodestones
4 stacks of unidentified objects
43 Obsidian shards

Made about 30 silver and two obby shards from 40k worth of boxes. Not terrible, especially for a chance at an el. tonic and a mini!

Why is it that everything in this game gives Obsidian Shards as a reward? It’s one of the most useless things in the game.

I do think that the droprate for Mini Balthazar will be nerfed soon. Lots of those linked in chat.
