How many people actually work on spvp?
Numbers plz.
Word on the street is 4.
If you could ask them about the whole Cantha issue both with the removed district from Divinity & the actual region/nation as a whole, if they can clarify or provide any new info on whether or not we’ll ever see either of them in GW2 or not etc. That’d be awesome..thanks
You can find all the questions and discussion here:
And another question that was raised, sort of in the same vein of the iconic GW1 cultures.. Are there still plans for us to actually be able to choose what cultures our characters heritage is from like they had originally planned? IE: Cantha, Elona, Etc
Considering linked accounts are supposed to be between ancestors to descendants, a lot of people made toons sort of based off their GW1 characters.

Why is this game so kittening PvE focused?
THAT is my question.

I doubt they have 4 full time developers devoted to sPvP unless we talk about map designers. They are putting as little of their work force on the live team as possible. Most of the resources are being used for expansion content.
When, if ever, will we see our prior achievement points be rewarded towards
laurels?
When, if ever, will we see our prior achievement points be rewarded towards
laurels?
Towards laurels, never. They said this already.
But separate achievement point rewards, I’d also like to see.
Will they agree that the “No Holy Trinity” combat system is a failure or at least needs some improvement?
Without group roles the classes become generic everyman, great at nothing, so so at everything. Fights are a zerg fest and stale. Without class roles the fights cannot have phases or any sort of depth.
Since traits really lock you down to weapon sets, perhaps open up weapon swapping to also include simultaneous trait swap.
Something needs to be done.
The trinity is a terrible system, ‘let me just stand here and push buttons in a sequence’ the GW2 system is far better.
My question is will we see harder meta events that require group co-ordination and communication to complete in the open world?

Quoting this to echo it too. The removal of the trinity, or at the very least treat management tools is a major mistake IMHO. I don’t feel like I have a real role in this game and PvE is very shallow.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I can speak for the guild I lead; PvE is dull as no matter how you dress it up you win by “Dodging out of red circles” and dealing damage. Every member has at some point uttered “I miss being a healer” or “I miss being a tank” etc etc.
I pine for Monster Hunter and other Capcom games, where twitch reflexes and quick judgments made the game impossible for so many, and yet the people who could found it so very entertaining . . .
Specifically speaking, Monster Hunter . . . no trinity of tank/dps/healer, entirely skill-based combat, and absolutely niche games lots of people complained about endlessly.
Mostly about Plesioth but . . .
One more question:
1. I know GW2 is not meant to have the traditional holy trinity, but can we ever get to see character roles more well-defined outside of pvp (ex. bunker, roamer, etc)?
Will You Implement GVG/HOH/arenas ?
—Customizable non-instanced player housing and guild housing?
—Regularly added new items?
—Will crafting ever become meaningful and profitable?
—Will Fishing be added?
—Will there ever be player controlled open world consensual pvp/guild vs guild?
—Adding any sandbox features to the game? example: player made theaters, musical instruments, growing crops in the open world, cross breeding plant system…etc….etc…
Will new items ever be added to the open world mobs? Or will they continue to be strictly controlled by ways such as of dungeons, laurels, events?

Will this game ever have 8 fully functional classes?
Should Rangers and Engineers just give up and work on their Mesmers, Guardians, Thieves, and Elementalists?
Will Warrior Pv kitten ues continue to be ignored indefinately because of their perceived overwhelming power in PvE (which is also a lie)?
Seriously though… I’d just like to know what is being done on class balance. Why the players can put forth hundreds of well thought out ideas a day and yet patch after patch nothing is ever changing.
Will there ever be an interview to ask what the players like/dislike, and would like to see in the game?
Please add more ways for the game to measure and reward skillful play, even in PvE.
(eg. ranking modes, time challenges, hard mode, high score tables, etc.)
Please also add more opportunities and ways for players to play skillfully.
(eg. combo fields are harder to use but more rewarding, skills/traits/classes have more ways to synergise, make attacks more positional, etc.)
Will you do this?
(if it needs to be phrased as a question lol.)
There has been pretty much absolute radio silence on anything related to Fractals of the Mist from the Devs for the past few months.
Any way you could get a comment on their plans (or lack thereof) for Fractals in the coming months?
Currently, there is no other way of obtaining fractal weapons besides grinding FotM daily. Would there be new progression methods such as spending Fractal Pristine Relics to obtain the fractal weapon of our choice in the new future?
1. What is the next major holiday you plan to build content around (similar to Halloween and Christmas)?
2. Following the revamp to AC, what is the planned timeline for making similar passes at/updates to the other dungeons in the game? Will they be taking them in order (CM, TA, SE, …) or do will they be prioritizing the upgrades in a different order?
