What is the exact time when the panel will begin in CET? (Central European Time)

First I thought it was 5:30 pm but after watching a video it states it’s at 3:00 pm.

So I’m a bit confused right now which time it is. Would very much like to know the exact time for CET.

I don’t know EU time zones, but if you are used to converting from Pacific time, the panel will begin at 8:30 am Pacific. That is 10.5 hours before daily reset (if reset is global).

The event will start in 5:30PM (17:30) CET this saturday.

I’m in the UK and was just trying to work it out. We’re on GMT at the moment because it’s winter. I think 8.30am Pacific will be 4.30pm GMT. (That’s only 7.5 hours before reset as reset is at midnight for me, I’m on a US server though if that makes any difference.)

CET is one hour ahead I think, so that would be 5.30pm.

So is it 4:30 pm or 5;30 pm? I used time converters but i’m not certain yet. It’s quite important for me, cause i gotta go somewhere but might be back at 5:30

A note for those that aren’t already struggling to make the start: There will be a “pre-show” starting 30 minutes earlier. I believe that will be on GW2’s Twitch, while the panel itself will be on PAX’s Twitch, at least as I interpret the announcements. I intend to have both channels open just to be safe

Anyway, if you can start watching 30 minutes earlier, you might want to.

A big thingy for me is the replayability of this. Last paxes i cant remember a full replay possibility on twitch. I wouldnt be so worried if they confirmed a full replay option.

Unless there are legal restrictions, I would imagine many people will be recording this for rebroadcast. ANet themselves should have a copy of it eventually posted, as they do with Points of Interest.

I’m still happy I get to watch it live as it unfolds though

This is correct. The stream starts a half hour earlier.

why does it always have top be pm and am, after 40 yrs on this planet it keeps confusing me…Why can’t people just use 24:00 instead of 12:00 xm it would be so much more comprehensible.

Agree. I got used to it though. But still, 23 hour is much easier to comprehend then 11 am/pm.

im from EU and EVERYONE is using the 24 thing here so u guys just keep confusing people a lot and also the offical notice is not even saying the time zones in EU lets go london time and we can calculate from there why nobody in arena net didnt even THINK to place the offical time in EU and this am/pm thing that we dont use or we dont get its same as the metric vs imperial system OMG!

I wish Anet luck….what they could say will either make or break them considering how everyone is getting their hopes HIGH up.

For Great Brittain and portugal players: 16:00 (4pm)

For almost all EU people like France, belgium, netherland, Germany, most of Spain, etc:

17:00 5 pm

Well I just googled “10:30 cst time” and it told me “10:30 AM Friday, Central Time (CT) is
6:30 PM Friday, in Cape Town”, so that worked for me. Should probably work for other people as well. So you know, guess its 6:30 on a Saterday as well.

Thanks to this thread I was able to figure out at which local time the live stream will be airing for me.
Unfortunately, i was planning on taking a shower at that time, so please, could you kindly ask Mike and Colin to delay the panel for 30 min?

For Australia it’s in the small hours of the morning. I don’t think there’s much you can do about this this close to the panel, you’d have to have a fleet of boats already tugging Australia and New Zealand to the east Pacific to make it in time.
