Quote: “Summoned creatures and pets can no longer draw aggro from enemies that have not already aggroed on their master.”

How’s this affect ranger pets and using them to pull though?

Maybe it means how they auto attack mobs, or aggro mobs without you ever hitting them? Not really sure..

I believe this new feature was put in to keep pets from aggroing just by their position on the map. The pet did not always stay right by your side and often drew aggro from mobs you were successfully avoiding. It was one of my beefs with that kitten little Jagged Horror from the Reanimator Trait in Death Magic.

So the only thing that is affected by it is map traveling..

They nerfed the mobility of ele in wvw, first of all. But ruined the fun part of -\d ele in open world pve as a side-effect. Yay!

Pretty sure it has to do with the arrows in wvw, it was a tactic to protect siege from arrow cart fire.

I think the main reason might be that people blocked trebuchet-attacks. Also, blocking agony probably was never intended to be possible.

Thanks for nerfing Ride The Lightning in PvE. You are terrible, arenanet.

It was not fair to other classes the traveling around map with it was insane.. They fixxed it so now its usefull but be made to get into combat.. If your read the patch noters right you ll see that when it hits the cooldown will be halved.. So there are your precious 20 sec cooldown again. So the only thing that is affected by it is map traveling.. and that was broken on an ele… Also ele has 1—% swiftness uptime anyways. If you play it right and know your class

Yes, everyone was furious that elementalists, a subpar pve class, could travel about as fast as warriors or thieves in open world PvE. The entire community was in an uproar. It’s so great that the cooldown was doubled. Let’s nerf everything. No fun allowed.

You people will try to justify anything, especially if it’s a class you don’t play.

So many nice changes for a change. I didn’t see any mention of adjustments to CS DE’s, but haven’t encountered a champ in pent/shelt in about an hours play. Much less annoying than previously. For the thief nerf reversion (Reveal in PvE) I thank you Anet. I’m playing my thief again for the first time since the nerf.

I think there was a small enhancement for the daily’s where you can now see a count down timer before reset. (Which people asked for)

I dont play Mesmer, but just posting to say the nerf of confusion is utterly idiotic. It was the ONE condition that forced players to play with a little brain, to be careful of what they were doing rather than spamming their skills like brainless. And now one of the 2 (maybe 3) way to play a mesmer has been killed.

Goodjob Anet, maybe one day you’ll play your own game and notice all the things you got wrong.

I guess I made a good decision when I made a ranger couple days ago. I could already tell the strength difference between it and my strugling mesmer. Now zepher has extra sec and heals for 50% more. Shark got a 10000hp increase as did other pets. Alot of skill cds too. Thank You Anet for the buffs

Worst patch ever. Confusion is still useless in 99% of PvE and there’s no compensation for condition mesmers in WvW, they didn’t even fix the scepter.
