People like me who post criticisms..
Ok I really am getting annoyed with these bi-weekly updates that have so much bugs associated with them. I’d much rather have them take a break, fix what needs to be fixed, before introducing new stuff… The wvw bug is a huge one imho. And the cloth aqua breather for females are still invisible. :/

Leo, they have to keep you hooked to this game, that’s the reason for the really fast content.
You are acting like an addict in a casino; you’ll get it next time. Oh, almost got it ? I’m sure you can try a liiiiiittle harder, and then you’ll have it.
They are just appealing to that little psychological need of “doing everything I can”.
It’s like these “for a limited time only !” promotions you see everywhere. Oh, that burger might never come back ? Hmmm…wonder how it tastes…guess I’ll try it.
Same thing, but with virtual content here
It’s not the pace that I’m concerned about, it’s how much bugs we get everytime we get a patch. Like in a day, we get 100000 bug fixes patches. It’s seemingly becoming very unprofessional.
They’re rushing too much.

Well, at the same time, you have to consider the fact that the teams are rushed to get that content as fast as they can, so they don’t always (do they even ?) have the time to test it.
It’s not like Eve, where you have test servers, and the content is tested for a while.
Remember, NcSoft always is looking for money, so it’s putting a lot of pressure on Anet for making new content fast. Sad reality.

Exactly why I’m starting to hate these bi-weekly updates. I feel like they need a break from making new content and focus on fixing what needs to be fixed first.. I feel sorry for the Anet team if they’re being driven like slaves with impractical deadlines.

I do agree that they should ease up with content. Maybe once a month would be a more plausible choice? Gives players ample time to savour the content and gives the devs more time to work on the next content update too.
When I watch the current living world video I have a dissociative experience akin to living in a different living world than the ‘living’ world they are describing in the video. If they ever get to producing the living, breathing, evolving living world like the video describes, I will be very happy with the state of the game.
I agree with the ascended problem. I believe the answer to that is to make it trivial to acquire (as Colin said the best gear stat-wise should be) and announce that vertical progression ends with this tier. That would solve the long term problem that began on 11/15/2012. Without an announced end, the problem continues, even with the addition of skill/ability progression which Colin announced as something to do “instead” of grinding out gear ad nauseum.
You know the sad thing is, I barely remember what happened with the Living Story even though I played through all of the content. The releases didn’t have enough impact on the world.

In Guild Wars 1, in five years, I could count the times I heard trash mob used on one hand. No one called trash mobs trash in Guild Wars 1, because they could drop black and white dyes, or lockpicks in Eye of the North or anywhere in hard mode.
The idea that some mobs are trash and can’t reward you is ludicrous. It comes from games where that is literally not true. But you can get a rare, exotic or even a precursor from a trash mob.
People who skip trash mobs and complain about not getting drops at all make me laugh.
You can also get all of those things from killing mobs outside of dungeons.
I think most people don’t go into dungeons to kill trash, rather they go into dungeons to kill bosses and get a reward for doing so.
If you believe that I am correct then all dungeons should be nothing but puzzles and bosses with no trash to muck up the experience.
