Personality Removed ?
It appears that the system is still there, but hidden. Given that it didn’t actually DO anything (that was to come later), by hiding it they’ve effectively removed it.

In a few select dialogues in personal story, certain personalities give you extra options (at least in one case allowing you to kill an NPC you otherwise couldn’t). Don’t know if it does that anymore, though.
As a search on the term Personality did not find anything posted this one.
April 15th patch removed it (or hid it). Also you’ll note that “ferocity” was used in the personality system, which could be a reason why it’s hid… so as not to be confusing. Ferocity is the new armour/weapon term for Critical Damage.
The personality system could have gone SO much further than it did, but Anet didn’t run with it.

I find the search function on this forum doesn’t find ANYTHING! Seriously, type in “mounts” and it’ll come back with “no results found.” It’s maddening.
Search function on these forums has been broken for well over a year. No attempt has been made to correct it.

Some of us liked to keep certain personality balanced on certain characters. It added flair.
I’m sad that my main’s profile no longer says “Diplomate”. Or my boyfriend’s main is no longer a “Scoundrel”.

Yep it was useful for color at least. And it does change some NPC relationships. It would be better if they went even more into it on questing to make questing more repeatable.
My Charr’s were quite rightly, Militant… and my sylvari necro was Unpredictable. And yes it did add some colour to the characters you were using.

What ratio gave you “Scoundrel”? 50% Charm, 50% Ferocious?
I miss this system too. I liked keeping my Human Noble Mesmer a Diplomat, or my Sylvari Dawn Necro being Captivating.
