Anyone else notice that the content being produced recently has had a polarizing effect on the player base? For a game designed with social aspects at it’s core, why make content that divides us?

Just curious to see what others think? I don’t appreciate the effect it’s having myself. How about you, do you like having factions or rather have a greater community?

All content has a polarizing effect on the player base, it’s the internet.

As long a people are allowed to have opinions on the internet everything will be polarizing. People can get offended at the simple fact at 2+2=4 if they so choose. I’m sure I am offending no less than 10 people just by stating this.

Learn to care less about what other people think and worry about enjoying the things you like. Trust me, life is much less stressful that way.

The divide isn’t necessarily over Farming….
In possibly the most astonishing observation on this I’ve seen yet, infact it took me totally by surprise b/c I hadn’t even considered it until yesterday when I saw it: People will Break stuff, just to watch the world burn or just to get even more RNG.

I think that you’re talking about the voting, correct?
I was on the sour loser side, however I didn’t think an MMO would ever make me care so much about a silly political update. I think it’s good that we get divided sometimes, I think it’s good that we get into fighting spirits. Somehow the game just seems more alive to me that way.
