…and one of every other class at 80. If you care about the order that was achieved (a.k.a. preference):

Though the last two hit 80 literally a day apart from each other, so they’re pretty interchangeable. I know you’re not doing a time series plot here, but it’s worth noting on account of if you had asked this at an earlier point, my answer would have been quite different.

Updated! Guardian now has the highest population, as well as the lowest population percentage of players under level 80 with that particular profession. Meanwhile, Warrior is the second highest population, but also the highest population percentage of players under level 80.

Personally, I’ve never used Survey Monkey… But this seemed easier, either way, and it gives players a chance, if they so wish, to explain (as some have said they get tired of x profession, etc.).

Thank you again for all those who have contributed, and I look forward to future contributions! Perhaps with enough data, we may see some significance (why does Guardian, for example, have the most players and the most players at level 80?).

This is a general poll, one does not need to provide proof because it doesn’t really matter. If I may offer a little advise that not only applies to this, but many things in life. Statements like this make you seem defensive and/or insecure. These statements may even lead people, who otherwise would take you at your word, to believe you are actually trying to hide something or deceive.

I don’t think this is the case with you, I’m guessing you’re simply young (not an insult by any means) and haven’t been exposed to this lesson in the past. Thanks for your input on the survey, you have quite a bit of varied profession experience.

Guardian was my first toon, easy to play, easy to level. Elementalist is just pure fun for me and i crafted her to 60, just to get to the meat and potatoes of the class. My mesmer was painful to get to 80. I like playing the class now, but getting there was really, meh.

Ranger 38 – I’ll eventually go for pets, beyond that ranger really doesn’t do much for me.

Engineer 6 – I’m enjoying this class more now that i’ve played it this far (very new toon), however, i really don’t look forward to leveling her to 80.

I also used to have an 80 Norn Female Ranger and 44 Sylvari Male Thief, but decided for RP reasons they both worked better with each other’s classes, and rerolled them as a Sylvari Male Ranger (currently 35) and Norn Female Thief (currently 20). They’ll both be back above 40 by this weekend, but I don’t know if you want to count them because of the previously achieved levels?

Guradian and warrior were first for me because I tend to play control / tanking in MMOs and they were close. Mesmer as its similar to one of my old city of heroes mains – an illusionist. Despite these being popular with farmers I avoid that crowd. Next will be my ranger.

All professions, except for Mesmer and Warrior, increased in percentages. Mesmer and Warrior, however, decreased. Guardian still has the highest population number and lowest percentage. Warrior, still in second place in terms of population number, is no longer the highest percentage. In fact, the smallest population (Engineer) is now the second highest in percentage. Necromancer now has the highest percentage.
