I often run around in mixed sets, I just wear whatever drops for me pretty often! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I’m pretty fond of my Igraine’s current combo, though:

Head: invisible
Shoulders: invisible
Hands: invisible (Profane would look nice, or Orchid)
Coat: Masquerade (picture 1) OR Tactical (picture 2)
Pants: Profane (Gem Store)
Feet: Dryad (Sylvari cultural T3)

I wanted something without skirts, was the original inspiration. :DD I’d probably hate this on any of my human characters, but it seems to work on Igraine quite nicely.

Unknown – shoes and gloves

Head: Vigil
Shoulder: Vital worn chain pauldrons

Just made this up on the spot today well tonight lol. But I am thinking of what I can do that is new for my necro.

Just added a Mask of the Wanderer to my warrior’s Corrupted Ice set. It’s even on the right side, just like the shoulder pads, the gauntlet and the corrupted axe, so I think it does excellently.

Its not really a combo but it looks nice.

My Sylvari Thief in Tier 1 cultural chest, legs and boots. The head is the Heritage Bandana from HoM and the shoulders and glove are the Toxic set from the gem store. Everything is dyed “Midnight Yew”.

The thief skirt is the Magitech skirt, and the top for the ranger is the Krytan armor top and the skirt is the norn t2 cultural.

A lot of good styles here, but wanted to give props to you for originality. I agree, we could do with less skirts and ballgowns. This has kind of a super hero feel to it. Like you said, it probably would look out of place on a human… unless you went full dark skin/silver hair and made the armor colors light/complimenting. Something more “X-men” like and not just a corny halloween outfit.

The base metal colour is Charred – brings out the detail on the metal plates and sections
The alternate metal colour is Brass – matches the brass tones of the Predator
The bodysuit colour is Abyss – Wanted a very luxurious looking black leather look to the body suit
The glow colour and visor are coloured Amber – to fit with the glow of the Predator and its aura

The shoulder piece looks okay on the current configuration – it adds a bit to the steampunk look I was going for. While I’m not a fan of that giant cog there, I do like how the rest of the piece looks. Would’ve been great if that cog was animated in some way! I am keeping an eye out for any other steampunk-y shoulder, that I could use as a viable replacement
