Post a pic of your character only if your armor is mix-n-match
Here is my engineer Pamat N Gineer. And her drone to enhance her combat awareness.
If i ever manage to decide which mix and match looks best on my mesmer, i’ll post that too.
Sir Chan de Stroy, my attempt at a (circa 3rd crusade) Knight Hospitaller…he got lost on the way to Jerusalem, and ended up in the wrong Ascalon…
I just wish we had a decent bucket helm to play with…ascended was the best of a bad bunch.
Ran out trans charges before I could change the helm and gloves, I think i’ll keep it as is, still deciding on dyes, am currently using corrupted axe and mace so might go a bit lighter…

Heh, this is pretty neat. Hell, that is extremely neat. I like the idea more than the actuality, though. Something like the Knights of the Nine armor in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Would totally be neat to have some more templar/crusader-esque armor. Would also like the rest of guild armor to be released. Banded is close but not the same.
You did great with what you were given though!

Panda hat is the best thing ever,I wish I could use it on all my characters.
(But then I would be a boring person)
A classic mix n’ match, for my mesmer (armour dyed purple because GW1 colour code are to be respected)
My warrior set :3
This is my norn warrior. Its mostly different tiers of cultural armor but with the scarlet headpiece

Awesome, nice cosplay there
Here are my human warrior, ranger and my Norn warrior on my 2. account

Haha, some really cool ideas/themes going on here.
This is one recent guy I made… Is it sad that I waited a whole year for the Devil Horns to be re-released just so I could make a devil? Meh. It’s fun.
I would have got the Elegant Weaponsmith back if it didn’t have those huge sidings. T_T

- still, a very impressive looking knight sir.
I’ll admit to wanting to be fashionable too. In the attached image you can see three of my favorite toons. From left to right – Arcos Shiningpaw, Slaine Mcroth and Soren Darkfjord. Arcos is wearing a predominately Nobel outfit with a nod to Guild Wars (I) in the form of a Krytan skull shoulderpad. Slaine is wearing an outfit consisting of Berserkers privateer shoulders, rogue coat of the grove, Clerics privateer gloves of infiltration, rogue pants of the Centaur and finally Clerics privateer boots of the traveler. Finally Soren is a Norn barbarian hero so is naked from the waist up, but his outfit consists of Clerics Dark Templer Tassels of the Flock and Carrion Dark Templer Greaves of Lyssa.
I tend to change the look up on my main a lot, but here’s my sylvari Warrior in what I’ve dubbed his “Dragoon Avatar” look.
Glint’s Gaze Mask
Carapace Shoulders
Phalanx Warplate
Glorious Gauntlets
Braham’s Legguards
Phalanx Warboots
Heres my little Necro!
Can’t quite tell, but your little necro looks more like an engineer.
Oh, and you have a human in a non-mix-n-match Outfit in the way

I agree with your observation. It does, indeed, appear to be an engineer, though I cannot make out exactly what armor is being worn on their little asura at that distance.
I further agree that it would be best to ditch the human in a non-mix-n-match outfit when taking a better screenshot. It really taints the spirit of this specifically titled thread to have its presence in the forefront of the image of their actual mix-n-match armored character.
:)

My Guardian
Glowing Crimson Mask, Carapace Pauldrons, Whisper’s Secret Breastplate, Carapace Gauntlets, Primeval Legplates, Carapace Greaves
My Asura Mesmer in Canthan Expeditionary Outfit (Parade Version).
Helm = Zephyr
Shoulders = Radiant Mantle
Chest = Whispers Secret Robe
Gloves = Radiant Vambraces
Legs = Inquest Breeches (chose them because of the compass fit the theme)
Feet = Ascended Standard
Back = Armorsmith Intricate Backpack (not the last one, its the smaller version. Fits theme)
Colors used: Fog / Celestial / Illumination / Silver / Tarnished Steel / Ash
Stinky McLane… the only Necro known to have a toothpaste fetish
Lefty (give me a second) Fiddlesticks… one Engineer, two clumbsy hands…

Here is my Guardian, Archangel Kaz. The only thing that I would replace, is the back item, but they would need to be replaced with a really nice set of feathered wing’s (not like those hideous holographic wings which constantly move. Can’t stand the constant flapping which they do). General theme though as you can guess was to make her as angelic and ferocious as possible. She is an angel not to be trifled with.
My human ranger
A job well done, made me finish him in no time. 5/5.
Hre’s my main… hard to find nice looking Meduin gear that arn’t trenchcoats – but this works. I Think every single one of my 8 charrs have mix and match…
Here’s my beatiful necro, Ivy.
I think the shoulder might be a little over the top. but meh.
My fresh level 80 warrior alt, Diancie Gemma.
Armor consists of Brawn of Koda, Vigil’s Honor Tassets and Heavy Plate Greaves.
8/9 Professions, Asura Guardian main.
My second Ele, Yemoja. Envisioned her as having an ‘Arabian Nights’ sort of theme. Haven’t quite pulled it off though.
Next step is to craft Ambrite weapons (scepter, dagger and staff)
My Guardian
Glowing Crimson Mask, Carapace Pauldrons, Whisper’s Secret Breastplate, Carapace Gauntlets, Primeval Legplates, Carapace Greaves
Impressive!
My ele has recently switched her summer outfit to something more appropriate for the cold weather. Here are after and before the change ^^.
- doranduck, 2016 on Lore in Raids
My necro main’s current pseudo-steampunk look is mostly Asura light T1 with some other stuff mixed in. My charr warrior doesn’t have any two pieces from the same set. The look isn’t current because I’ve changed her armor and just haven’t bothered to reskin it yet, but she looked amazing in it and will again.

My warrior
Phalanx Helm, Phalanx Breastplate, Holographic Dragon Wing back, Draconic Legs, Phalanx Boots (Hellfire would be ideal), Hellfire Vambraces, Avenger’s Shoulderplates
Colour: Abyss/Heirloom combination
Working on it really really slowly. There are some gloves I like but I’m actually working on the ascended helmet (which I don’t like tbh).
After the forum reorganization many threads were moved into the general discussion thread, so I decided to bump this thread up for the newcomers to see the amazing creativity of guild wars 2 players:)
p1: i think i finally like my warrior
P2: im not happy with female norn hips at all. I might do a gender swap, though the name change makes it very expensive. Problem with norn males is that i don’t like this armor in them either and i’d have to go for the cultural t3, that one looks sweet.
P3: ranger looks way too cool in this completely unoriginal set. But, what can i do? cool is cool no matter what. Belinda’s gs makes it even cooler.

Very well done armor set, I love it.

hey, cool name, VERY nice outfit, and nice collage you got there!
This is one of my Guardians.
Glowing Crimson Mask
Armageddon Pauldrons
Gladiator Chest Plate
Hellfire Vambraces
Phalanx Leg Plates
Phalanx Warboots
Phoenix Hammer
Dyes Apricot, Lifesblood, Abyss
I tried to create a look that uses the new scarf. Here is my ele wearing the wintersday earmuffs and scarf with the aetherblade chestpiece, skirt and gloves; and the order of whispter boots. I use midnight ice and shiver sky dyes.
