I have been wanting to post here for a long while now. I’m fairly happy with how most of my characters look, but this one is the one I am most proud of.

Human Mesmer (and my namesake!) wearing the following…

Head: Carapace Cowl (Dijon Dye)
Shoulders: Trickster’s Mantle (Antique Gold and Blood Dyes)
Chest: Vestments of the Lich (Ocean, Antique Gold and Midnight Ice Dyes)
Hands: Dry Bones Gloves (Mindnight Ice, Red and Antique Gold Dyes)
Legs: Council Ministry Hose (Ocean and Antique Gold Dyes)
Feet: Incarnate Shoes (Blood, Midnight Ice and Antique Gold Dyes)
Weapon: Cobalt

Note: I was trying to go for an Orrian feel for her look, without using the entirety the Arah armor set (nothing against it, but so much of it looks a bit too ragged.) I dunno how well I succeeded with that though, since there is precious few good images of what the Orrian’s looked like before they all became corrupted Risen. x.x I’m open to any suggestions though! ^-^

That new shoulder scarf at the gem store really made the combo work for me

It seems to me that wearing an entire matched set of armor is the exception rather than the rule. The only sets I usually see worn in their entirety are the Ascended sets (particularly Heavy), CoE (Medium or Heavy), and now the Carapace/Luminescent sets.

Regardless, I got bored and composited the sets I wear most often on my characters. I think the mods frown on attaching 8 images though so… I just picked my mains. Didn’t bother listing Dyes; if anyone actually cares, I’ll type them out.

Mordrem Axes

I have been toying with mixed armour sets for a while but could never find a mix that I really liked- I wanted light armour that covered her legs without being flowy and robe-like. A couple of days ago I managed to put this together in a few minutes. It was like a miracle.

I personally like the synergy between the wings on the shoulders and wing design on the breast of the chest-piece and boots. There’s also synergy between the tassle-like fabric on the back of the skirt and back of the shoulders.

P1: Trestkon Madklaw. Ash Legion Ranger and Vigil Warmaster. He’s been spending way too much time in the Silverwastes turning Mordrem into weapons. For choice of armor pieces, I gave him the Shadow of the Dragon mantle and gloves, the crimson eyes and rest is the Krytan medium armo

P2: Plukku. Engineer of the College of Dynamics. An asura with a burning passion! She dons Flamewalker attire along with the Magitech gloves and boots

P3: Lady Malkav. Necromancer, Courtesan, Priory Magister. But you probably wouldn’t tell based on choice of fashion alone. For her, I went with the Toxic Mantle and gloves, Sorcerer’s pants and winged top.

here’s a picture inspired by a cross between a ninja and its form fitting Gi and the armor plating of a samurai. As an order of whispers warrior i thought it was appropriate. It’s even charr-friendly in regards to the tail!
