My engineer’s got probably the most mixed gear, though all my charr have matched gear not sets to get around clipping or badly fitting parts.
Armour consists of 3 parts Arah medium, T3 medium cultural boots, Fused Gauntlets and Horns of the dragon helm. Finished off with a Holographic dragon wings backpiece.

I’m told I have pretty good taste!

Mesmer:
Dark blue/winged theme. Multiple sets of overlapping wings. Bat greatsword for bat effect. Final Rest because it matches perfectly. Really hope they introduce that raven staff that was leaked a couple years ago because it would look so great!

I’m not sure what to call his armor set but I like it! It’s a mix of Carapace with Vigil and all Ebon Vanguard weaponry.

I love looking at all of the armor combos in this thread! Here is the newest one I’ve come up with for my Sylvari necro. A bit of a plant theme using some Sylvari cultural and mordrem + dreamthistle skins.

I love your look,I made mine with the Frost skin with Dusk glow.
If I may ask what chest piece is that and if you can remember the body type?
I went with the skinniest body type but might a change.

My necromancer probably has the most mixed armor. I don’t even know what she’s wearing off the top of my head anymore. I just kind of go through my wardrobe and click on things until I think it looks nice.

My Sylvari Necromancer!

Alright, so I’ve seen this thread for ages but never posted as I’ve always been a big fan of full armor sets. Since very early in the game I’ve always worn norn medium t3 and LOVED it (man I miss the days when I’d get “omg where did you get that armor???”)

So I have waited and waited for there to be new good looking “norn-y” released armors, but we never really get any <insert rant for everything looking human cultural or planty>. Figured its been two and a half years, time for an update, and people love the mixing and matching now, so thought I would give it a go! Wanted to make my ranger stay a sleek camo hunter, but to still have a norn look to her. Kept the silvery accents because I wanted the outfit to match my howler.

head (though usually invis) – Wolf (norn medium t3)
shoulders – Wolf
Gloves – Wolf
Chest – Viper
Legs – Predatory (norn t2)
Boots – Viper

Dyes- mixes of enamled legacy and generation, swampblack, and cinders.

Pretty satisfied with the look I’ve got on my human mesmer. kitten lookin’ light armor sets are hard to come by in this game..

The new dyes let me update one of my necromancers .

I’m happy with this look for the moment. Its still not exactly what I want but its close. If they ever release an armor set with this type of look, or outfit (can’t believe I said that), then I’ll be all over that. I think its a great look… one that is especially difficult to create on charr characters.

Yes. There is clipping with the hood, obviously, and some more with the vest coming through a bit on the back of the neck — but I am dealing with it.

Finally got a look I’m happy with for my warrior. My goal is to not have any two of the same pieces, so looking to replace shoulders once I find something decent. The overall look is to appear as if I’m wearing the skin of a mighty dragon.

The colors are White, Abyss, Black, Midnight Purple, with a touch of Autumn an Antique Gold

Tried to get filigree a deep gold and the armor pieces as dark as possible. I ended up using redemption gold for the former except the shoulder trim, which had to be made darker with golden lion. The armor pieces themselves are midnight fire.

Its kinda dark but worked pretty kitten getting the right mix cant remember all the names of gear off the top of my head.

Kind of put this together on the fly, hit 80 on this thief today.

More mix and match. Just thinking about it I don’t really have any characters that are a single set (with the exception of leveling character and the what pieces of heritage I do have unlocked).
