What’s different about yours is asking for the origin of the look. Some of the posts in the big thread do that, most just give a list of the pieces and dyes.

kitten , i just realised i repeated a character… well, one of those is being replaced by a thief, as soon as i decide if i want to make it male or female.

My Guardian

Trying again, for some reason the picture would not attach:

This pic is from beta but I’ve exactly reproduced her as a necromancer ready to be a Reaper. Magnus’ Right Eye Patch (Flare/Caramel), Flamekissed Vest/Legs/Shoes, Profane Gloves (all Midnight Fire). In beta I used the Primitive Mantle but as I’m not so much into skulls in live I’m sticking with the tiniest possible shoulder and hiding it more often than not.

Two of my chars meet this description!

Carapace armor, shoulders, and gloves with mist walker hat and leggings and Viper’s boots.

Charred and cinders really are great dyes for those metal accents.

My mesmer, Enxari. I want her looks to be unique. Not to be typical “mesmer like” / dressed as all the other female human (and norn) mesmers, eles and necros. :P
I change the colours from time to time. Now all parts of her armor are dyed in shadow turquoise, one of my favorite colours. ^^

Her armor consists of the following parts:
Glint’s Gaze Mask (Blue)
Glorious Epaulets
Vestments of the Lich
Glorious Armguards
Illustrious Breeches
Diviner Boots

Working on getting the glorious boots as well. Like them a lot. I also like the forgeman shoes and the illustrious ones.

(The one with carapace has a dye which changes color depending on the environment and if its bright or dark. And the roman gladiator looking human also uses a dye which changes color depending on environment. As for the other characters their look is the same in every environment kinda.)
