That back item appearance is not actually a back item; it is built into the shoulder skin on some genders of some species (the female human/sylvari/norn).

I often use those shoulders just for the appearance of the pseudo-back item instead of using an actual back item. I’d like more back items like this one, personally.

I gave my thief another makeover and really like the look. Helmet and torso are Stalwart, shoulders scarf, pants I forgot, boots Viper. Dyes are Gold Fusion, Enameled Generation, Enameled Sacrifice, Enameled Solitude for the pants, and some Gold Sheen I think.

I never felt like there were enough “battlemage-y” outfits available for us light armor folk. It’s either a bunch of the typical dresses/bathrobes, or some suits straight out of the 1800’s.

I love sci-fi themed armors and try to improvise in gw2. Here is my latest creation inspired by Destiny. Depending on my mood/environment I use 1 of 3 masks.

The mask and shoulders tend to be hidden, the only screenshot of them I have is in the hero menu :x This skin set-up is Summer only, once it cools off I’ve gotta think of something new! (Or just switch the top and bottom back to Dryad Coat and Nightmare Sarong…)

I wanted this set to look more protective than my normal set, plus I always wanted to show my Order pride.

Both sets have my lovely daughter Mawdrey because I love her.

Taking a break from my main and started a mesmer. Fun class!

Well, I made a female human engineer now, for the most shallow of reasons: I saw someone wearing sandals and found out they were human cultural T3, and wanted to be able to wear those. Though of course my new engie isn’t the sandal-wearing type, she’s a bit too rough and tough. Still, she can wear them!

I haven’t decked her out yet as I’ve just started leveling her but she is a replica of my beta Scrapper so here’s the planned end-look. Weapons TBD. Aviator sunglasses, Krytan Jerkin, Rascal Pants, Aether Boots. Gloves if any will be short close fitting ones. No shoulders.
