I’m and TIRED of destroying Princess Miya Wigs. It’s ridiculous! Can the devs ad an option to auto-destroy spam drops like the Wig? I’ve deleted more wigs than I can count and it’s just so stupid that I keep getting them when if I REALLY wanted one I could buy one on the market for 3 copper.

There are ENOUGH Miya Wigs in the game inventory. Please remove them from the drop list!

We’ve probably all found hundreds of the things.

When that happens I just have a dedicated slot in my inventory and pile them up. When the next chapter starts: destroy stack.

They need to really balance loot tables. You get thousands of these, in a day, and not a single precursor in a year. Wtf?

I’m sick of destroying these too and those tickets for the last one. Anet please make it so we can sell these along with unused quest items, BLC and the Ascended materials to the merchants.

Even if they could only be sold for 1 copper a piece I wouldn’t mind as it would be a lot less annoying than having to destroy loads of items all the time. I also wouldn’t hate getting them as drops so much that way (and silently curse SAB when I do get them). Plus I’m sure 1 copper for these items won’t screw up the economy

You actually lose money selling them than destroying. Not a lot, but still.

We’d been collecting them in our guild bank and gave out a whole stack of them to one lucky “winner” as a consolation prize. XD

Heh, i have a pile of those sitting in a guild vault (thank the deities that they were not bound). Along with a single diadem that i am unsure where came from. Never seen a dress, and never could bring me to run SAB enough to grab the mini.

I know people in my guild (along with me) have just been sending these to other guild members, sharing the love. (Sending about 1000 of them at once to a person is just too funny).

Listing fee is a percentage of your sell price. If you sell at 1 copper, the listing fee is 0.

The real question is: who is buying these wigs on the TP? There are always tons orders to buy.

listing fee is never 0. listing fee is 5% rounded up. ‘projected profits’ seems to round up as well, which is nice.
what I do: make people happy by filling buy orders for them on the TP for 1c. it costs me 1c to list it, and I get 1c when I pick up sale profits. definitely don’t lose money, but it is a waste of time.

I am knee deep in wigs. We should be able to sell them to the Quaggans.They need them in the worst possible way.

There will be plenty more …. And if you look at say… Queens-Gauntlet & Continue Coins from chest drops, you can see evidence where some of these “trash” drops are taking the place of more important drops such as Silver Doubloons…. & hurting the economy.

A lot of people like to claim that they have their own separate dropping slot on the loot tables but that’s not what the drop research suggests in all cases. There’s lots of areas that Anet is prone to overlooking. Just look at Empyreal shards and how some of them failed to be added to the chests of certain harder JP’s /w “unique chests” at the end. This is the reality of rushed content by the way. They don’t have time to cover every single possible drop tables, especially on unique or scripted drop sources. <— IOW: this is expertise in programming & spreadsheet management here talking … not just some hunch or “Bad RNG” experience…. Most people can’t argue against it.

Yep, we see the small signs of rush all over the place. Notice how Kiel spent nearly a month in the lion fountain after they removed the holo-projector. And even now that she has been moved, her dialog is the very same one.

I get a stronger and stronger sensation that the game is filled with duplicated “features” because event dev A didn’t know what event dev B was up to, and nobody higher up had the complete overview.

Their main dev tool for non-programming tasks seems to be a souped up map editor called Duo. Meaning that anything above the core client-server code may well have the rigor of a bespoke web site…
