RIP City of Heroes
PvE only players cannot complete Monthly.
RIP City of Heroes
I thought Silverwastes was a map made in Monthly heaven. It was sooo easy this month to get the Monthly. And I never set foot in PvP, and very, very rarely set foot in WvW. Oh, and I have never, ever, finished a Jumping Puzzle Monthly. I only get one every month, where my alts are parked. Lol.
I’m not sure what the issue is…
I made sure to park my characters at 12 different JP’s, so that one is very easy every month :p
And if the OP’ title is correct, I wonder how I got my monthly, as I never do any PvP… Nor dungeons an fractals…. And I think I’ve killed 2 champs….
Daily is easy but if your PvE and *****HATE JUMPING PUZZLES****** then monthly is to hard to get.
i see that you are a new player with just a few hundrets of AP , so i wont judge you and give you the advice to go to silverwastes if you are lvl 80, if not buy items on TP that cost a few cooper and salvage it , sell the materials you got and you won´t make much loss
“But you still get achievement points from it.”
Irrelevant. The topic is PvE only players cannot complete monthly. But nice try.
Edit: The quote button is doing funny things again.

Lisa looks at the picture and blinks. Hard to get? All you need to do is spend a few hours somewhere where the orange circle events respawn quickly…Norn Starting Zone comes to mind if you don’t want to go to Silverwastes.
I got my PVE only monthly this month without even trying.
And you still have time to get the monthly…go, go, go you can dooo it
Lisa.

Dude, you need 18 more dynamic events, which is trivial and either 39 champs or 370 salvage. What have you been doing with your blues and greens item drops all month? And if you do only boss/group events then 18 of the 39 champs you need are taken care of.
And there are a number of events that are champs, outside of the starting zones. In Diessa Plateau there are four that come up at least once an hour, champ wurm by Butcher’s block, champ giant in Nageling, champ separatist by the Breached Wall and the champ spider by the spider caverns, midway along the north edge of the map. There’s also the periodic port to fight Rhendak.

Someone to hold his hand. Literally. Maybe he wants someone to play on his account for him too.
- It’s no joke. Some of these MMOs are so boring and so grindy that there’s emerging services of (usually chinese) players playing the game for the client. Time is money, you know.
500 salvaging sounds a lot but I easily get 30-40 items a night, mostly blue and green. Of course I have a copper-fed kit for those so I don’t run out of salvage kits in the field.
Like I said, or buy a few hundred salvage items on the TP, salvage them all and sell the mats back. Minimal loss and there go hundreds of salvages in under 5 minutes. No actual playing required.

for jumping puzzle just do the jp in the southeastern corner of southsun cove. you can port right to it and it takes all of 12 seconds.
You need to complete 12 different jumping puzzles during the month. This means that you can’t do the same jumping puzzle once a day to get it. I found that out when I started playing this game after doing an easy puzzle 3 or 4 days in a row before I realized it. :P
In the beginning this was a problem, I think they made adjustments for it although they could definitely use a weekly.
This month I did not go into WvW and did my monthly in PvE. it was completed in 4 days. It cannot get much simpler. Save your Scrolls of Knowledge for the beginning of the month (I currently have 134 stockpiled), go to the Silverwastes for all the blues/greens you require to salvage as well as the Monthly events, go to Frostforge or Orr and hook up with a Champion train.
Pve only here, and I dont even play that much anymore. Monthtly is easy peasy, is more like a daily to be honest.
