The LFG tool is awesome and very useful, but I think it can be improved slightly if there would be 2 tabs for each category, one for speedrun/zerker-only/10k-AP-or-kick party searches, and one for casual party searches.

I think this would mostly help the casual players, those who do dungeons for the first time or those who want to take them slowly. At least there might be a bit less complaining on the forum about the “zerker/stacking mentality”. And those looking for speedruns would be sure to get people also looking for speedruns (no guarantee that these people would be any good, of course, but that’s the risk we’re all taking when pugging dungeons).

I’m not sure how difficult it would be to implement this and probably the end might not justify the resources, but I thought I’d pitch this ideea anyway.

Thoughts?

When this tool was introduced some of us suggested that the devs add some grouping options similar to those on gw2lfg.com (the site everyone used before the LFG tool). Was a pretty good idea then, and still is now, but not something we’re likely to see.

and another tab for buyer/seller of paths.

Nothing is more annoying than trying to find a genuine lfg for ac/arah, and ALL there is, is path selling, ~scrolls down~ =more path selling………
