Will there be a race-changing-kit coming?

Doubt it. It doesn’t make sense at all to provide one.

I wish but everyone is so negative with random bs like personal story would be too hard to change or something. They made a whole freaking game wake up coding that is a cake walk.

but anet could implement a system which starts by lv 1 if you are changing your race

If you just want the skin, you can use transmutation stones. If they are high level gear, it’s pretty easy to just farm the equipment on your main until you get your new char to 80. Doing dungeons is easy exotic access.

Yes word from up on high (on ANet mountain) is a resounding NO.
I like to think it’s more an issue of priority than real technical difficulty.

Wish it were. Had I known before rolling my Elementalist as a first char and my first 80 I would do things entirely different.

For starters, I most certainly wouldn’t be a female sylvari as the spinal bolts are quite an eyesore after several months. And with no modest light armor options, I have no option.

I’d almost certainly go Norn because the Elementalist elite abilities are just so freaking useless. At least norn stealth would give me something to use with an actual function. Sylvari turrets are aweful. The non-human pets suck.

If I thought I could stomache leveling another, and I didn’t have to lose all my dyes, I’d reroll in a heartbeat.

I understand not wanting to do it, but if there’s a large enough demand, and it can be done without any real technical issues, I don’t see the harm in doing it.

Peoples want race-changes, Anet wants money, it will come in matter of time, maybe not in the near future but it will come. I dont see why they wouldnt do it. The game is all about looks and no matter how pretty ur princess is, u get bored to the core after some months looking at the same thing. (that being said, as for one with 8 lvl 80 and emperor title, i dont care, can always switch around XD)

I would pay $30 for a race change so yea they would make a lot of money.

Here is an idea!! Require the character to have finish personal story! then there won’t be no conflict with personal story!!

Which hardly anyone actually cares about, so again, when is it coming? People like to say that it would interfere with the story aspect, but if WoW can accomplish it…

If the individual hasn’t finished the story, just reset them to their current story level, let them pick all the intro things again like when creating a new character, etc. Or, IMO the best approach, just throw all that story stuff out the window and just give it a blank slate(starting from story level 1).
