I miss him too. He’s the best possible traveling and combat companion. He is still working on some sort of “time travel project” with the Asura, but with the crafty Asura continually raising the price, we’ll see how that goes.
I saw a frog on a Lilly pad in LA made me think of you and the frog, and the farewell party they had in GW1.

Nope, I got mine two hours before you posted that and I am a D. I wonder if it’s by hours played? I know it’s not by account age since lots of 3 year vets don’t have it.

I really do like it, I’ve spent all this time playing with dye patterns on all my alts. Curses, though, the way I dyed it on my human mesmer, who happens to be my fractals alt, I need the Fractal Capacitor now. So I need to farm 1300 fractal relics or so … and say buh’bye to over half my ectos once I have the relics. Darn you, ANet! /shakes fist
At least I do want to edge on up to Fractal 50, so there’s extra motivation.

Nope, players with less account time than I have have gotten it before me. It’s going alphabetically down the username list. I’ve been playing since closed beta and still haven’t gotten mine. On top of that I’m in the C’s which they have so many of those gold farm/seller accounts still on the list that it’s taking a long time for the system to auto send the outfits.

3rd year veteran, bought the game long before launch and participated in every beta and the headstart. Still nothing. While I know people who have had the game less than a year who have theirs already. I’d say your theory is incorrect. Oh and that I am irritated by the disrespect of this system not just mailing us all at once like would make sense. Also Krazyk, I think you will still receive your oufit.

I have a question. So I bought GW2 since launch and I JUST now, the day F2P came out upgraded to HoT. Do I get my outfit? Please and thank you!
Yes you’ll get it, you don’t have to have HoT. I’m not checked to see if I’ve got mine, but I didn’t hear anything about must have HoT, only that your account was created before today to get one. So if you made it last week, or yesterday, you’d get it.
I wouldn’t say “perfect”. There’s still a bit of tail clipping with the sash.
But its darn close. A very appreciated effort. Just a shame that they can’t craft everything with this level of care towards Charr.
The fact that its an outfit is probably the only reason it does fit so well, honestly. If they had to do 3x different armor sets instead of a single outfit, they probably would have viewed the extra time needed to fit it for Charr as too much.

So my theory using the email makes still sense, as every account is registert via an email address and then added the account name to it

My email and my account name both start with C’s. If D’s have been getting them, not sure what’s going on because I’m in the same boat as Dinks and haven’t gotten anything.

even if im most likely the greatest enemie of outfits.. i do gotta say thanks in advance and also thanks to the artist who remembered that there are charr players in the game who rolled the race for a reason. Horn holes and even ear holes in the helmet, completely covered neck, not even a tiny gap between chest and neck armor, tail plate , crisp clear textures, no stretching, no loveless deformation and also a pretty darn cool looking design. See a-net? This is how you make the charr players happy. I will actually wear this outfit on my charrdian and i will be proud to wear it. Thanks again

Really like the Royal Guard Outfit but i noticed a clipping issue i guess. When i use the outfit with the Selfless potion the Halo appears through my forehead…kinda looks like a tiara now or a really bad accident O_o
I don’t understand how difficult it is to seperate accounts by type, then send everyone with an account that’s not Free To Play the outfit. I’ve yet to get mine, and I bought the game more than a year or two ago.

There’s some issues with nameplates and what not. Most noticeable on Charr. It’s lowered the display to be lower than they should be. (i.e. ground level instead of above the charr) Asura must have a similar issue.
You’re sat in the Grove with a smile on your face after just receiving your Royal Guard outfit. Sure, you may not love it, but it’s something nice the developers just gave you. So after an hour dyeing it a few different times and running around testing it out, you decide to sit at the bank trying new armour combinations because this game is Fashion Wars 2, when to your surprise you get a mail out of nowhere. You open it, and it’s…another Royal Guard outfit?
Gotta say, this outfit is really cool! It should have been an armor set.. The outfit thing is super frustrating. It looks cool, but Anet really, really, needs to move away from every single cosmetic being outfits.
On one hand, this isn’t a big deal at all since there is very little one can do with a copy of an outfit one already has.
On another this just highlights the issues ANet has been having with all their reward batch jobs. Multiple rewards for some people is a recurring trend.
Because they are making armor sets in game rewards.
For the past 7 months we have only got outfits.

I know but they said a while back that only new outfits will appear in the store while new armor will be in game rewards. They announced 2 sets in HoT on top of the 5 Legendary armors.
