If I were to purchase these skins they are a one time use correct? Not like achievement skins. Also, I see that it says it can be converted for sPvP. If I were to convert them would I only be able to use them in PvP? Or can I use them in both PvP and PvE once?

at the moment, if you convert to sPVP, u may only use them in sPvP or activities (keg brawl, crab toss etc)

however, in the future, we may be able to use PvP armor in PvE, but no one knows when, and how that will work.

Yeah, it is fairly cheesy to give one piece of a set as reward and then put the rest in the gem store.

Don’t get me wrong, I am totally OK with gem store only sets. Even if they are the best looking sets in the game.

But being rewarded with another helmet skin (yay) and then trolled with more of the set only available at the gem store is sort of lame.

I despise the current skins system. We need an armory of sorts that saves our skins and lets us change them out with a click of the button instead of using transmutation stones and possibly LOSING your hard-earned skins by switching out to a different one.

I bought the Scarlet’s Spaulders because I got the helm from the event and it looked great. Like Kaiyanwan said, fairly cheesey to have to buy 1 piece to match a free teaser piece. And for 1/2 the cost of a full armor set, I get 1/6 of a set. Couldn’t even bundle the gloves & spaulders together? Really? $$$$$$$$$$$$

At the very least, if you’re going to make all new armor in the game only available via the gem store, could you at least make it like the Zenith/Radiant/Hellfire system where we unlock a skin? Buying 1 is over-priced enough. Do you really think I’m going to buy more at that price? But of course, more money is to be made from Transmutation Crystals and BL Keys if you want to put that bit on another toon or wield those new weapon skins.

So the helm and these make a set? Never even thought they matched – one is some horn helm, and the others have floating crystals…

Hm… If you dye them in matching colors, they do look similar I agree that it might be a single person perception issue, but to me the curved attached horns on the helm look completely alien to the straight floating crystals of gloves/shoulders… tl;dr: Hey, even after seeing it, I still don’t think they match!
