Selling loot on new TP: help! All the clicks!

I’ve been trying to sell some of the stuff from my inventory.

  • To get to “sell” after opening the TP takes 1 more click than before, but I can live with that.
  • In the “Sell” view, I have to navigate to each inventory bag separately for some reason. I can’t collapse them into one. All my invisible bags show up, too, even though I can’t access their content.
  • When selling an item, I have to use a slider instead of “sell maximum”. (I also have to remember to set it to insta-sell first, or else do the slider twice.)
  • Each item is sold in a pop-up that I have to close after the transaction with yet another click, whereas before, I could just select the new item.
  • The “Sell popup” always defaults to listing an item instead of remembering my last choice, so if I want to sell instantly (which I do 99.9% of the time), I have to select that every single time too.

On the buy side,

  • You can’t buy large numbers of items anymore without first manually adjusting the max price (this used to be automatic).

This might not sound so much, but try selling all your post-fractal-run loot – easily 40-80 items – those clicks add up!!

Has anybody figured out a clever way to circumvent at least the pop-up? Can this be configured somewhere? Am I doomed to just salvage everything forever now? Help.

If you don’t select any bag you should see what’s in all of them by default. Wait are you opening from your inventory rather than O?

You used to be able to close the pop-up with Esc too. Hitting Esc now closes the entire trade window and you have to start over.

  • After you check the price of an item, selecting sell or cancel resets which item is showing in the scroll box. I’m not sure how it’s deciding which item gets shown, but I had a bag where I had decided not to sell the first few items. After selling an item, I had to scroll back down past those first no-sale items, every time. The interface should remember which item was showing in the box, and display the same item if you cancel, the next item if you sell.

There’s a lot of stuff the game should remember but doesn’t, for instance that you last sorted by price, or that you like to sell instantly…

I second all these difficulties with the trading post.

Selling used to be super quick and now easily takes twice as long with several unnecessary clicks. Particularly the ‘success’ screen that requires a click before selling another item.

I really wish the ‘sell max’ option was still there. The scroll bar really slows down the process.

And I wish it didn’t default to ‘listing’ instead of ‘sell instantly’ or at least have a way to select a preference as a default.

Please fix! In an effort to simplify things, it seems it was complicated instead!

The new TP that I heard was supposed to be more streamlined is turned into a giant mouse clicking fest

I agree with the first post.

Selling is a horrid experience now and buying is an equal disaster.

WHY SO MANY CLICKS TO SELL.

FIX IT !!! BOOOOOO !!!

Well I guess when you test a new UI with, like, 3 items in your inventory, you won’t find anything wrong with it.

But like I said, try selling 40-80 individual blues/greens after a fractal or dungeon run, just once, dear dev, just once, and tell me this is an awesome new UI that speeds up the trading process… :/

IMHO this new layout it’s not as practical/useful as the old one!

But my biggest issue after the update is, as soon as i use the TP for whatever the game crashes!
Now i can’t “upgrade” any of my characters because i can´t buy nothing…!

Before this update my game was running flawless!!

The changed from high bid to low sell in hopes that players can earn more money and/or drive the sell price down due to undercutting. Unknown if the decision was to stick it to TP flipper’s by eliminating their supply sources. Wonder if buying defaults to high bid?

Upside, now it’s impossible to sell so fast you will get the error message. Problem solved.

I don’t know whether to laugh or to cry.

I made the same joke about their mini “fix” of just not displaying them at all anymore.
