I like both 100% equally and can get both for almost same price.

I was just wondering, Which is more game for the money, or “better bang for the buck”?

I don’t recommend pre-purchasing either of them.

You can safely pre-order FO4 because you can cancel the order any time. You cannot (easily) undo the pre-purchase ANet forces you into.

But generally – until you really, really want a bonus that is bundled with the pre-order, you should just buy the game when it’s released and you get feedback from reviewers other gamers. No reason to hand out free credit…

I’d personally do neither lol. I’ll wait till HoT gets closer to release for my prepurchase. Fallout 4 I’m going to wait for a sale I think (if it’s as good as the others)

Prior knowledge, consistency, and company transparency.
But then, no one’s asking you to like the game.

Bang for buck? Hands down FO4. Not only will you be getting a game riddled with bugs (always good for a laugh) but there is also a awesome community of modders that will not only fix those bugs but also provide loads of new buggy content equivalent to the HoT expansion for free.

I didn’t know HoT has the content of a patch of other MMO’s. Looks like I’ll get a full game instead like FO4.

Although past Bethesda games have released with many bugs, so theres that. Still gonna pre order that badboy.

Between GW2 HoT and Fallout 4 I’m good gaming wise way into 2016 and ZERO monthly
sub fees!

Bang for your buck? Fallout 4 for sure. You’d be getting a full-fledged game versus an expansion that’s looks to be on the smaller side. And if it is the case that you can cancel Fallout at any time as suggested above, it’s really a no-brainer.

People that say never to preorder are paranoid.

I’ve preordered tons of stuff and was never disappointed with any of them.

I’d recommend neither.

For HOT, wait until Christmas for it to hit 25-50% off at authorised retailers.
For FO4, wait until June 2016 for it to hit 25-50% off, most likely at Amazon or Steam.

That’s what I’ll be doing.

In the meantime, you can enjoy some of the games currently on sale at Steam. Or, if you’re an MMO nut like me, play something else until HOT goes on sale at the end of the year.

As Fallout 3 and new vegas are my favourite games it was easy decision i pre-ordered FO4.
Ordered from GAME with pipboy and a bobblehead.
