I was going to finish off my monthly with a fractal run today, but then I realized that if I just wait till the 28th, I can get laurels for completing my monthly. Am I correct about this? Need to know, cause I’d rather get the extra reward from waiting.
No you are not. Completing the January monthly will not give you laurels. Not before the 28th, not after the 28th.

I just came here to ask the exact same thing. It’s good to hear, but would it be possible for someone to back this up with a solid statement/link?
I just completed my January monthly so if the January update includes the achievement changes, does it mean I will lose out on the 10 crowns, or will I be retro actively compensated at least just for this month?
The January monthly achievement, regardless of when you complete it will not reward the new crown currency.
