Skill Timing on live
Thank you for letting us know you’re working on it. Hopefully you can also look into the various dungeon bugs that this patch has introduced as well.
Could you clarify what you mean by skill timing? Is this the 1-5 second lag that we’ve been experiencing in wvw for the past week consistently?

Winters bite skill went from half a second to 1 second cast time. I think this is what he means

I would imagine its referring to stuff like Ranger traps, Vapor blade, ect. which are now taking twice as long or more to cast than they should be.
Thief stolen bundles feathers and throw gunk are also bugged – can’t use skills for about a second after casting them.
Is this bug what’s holding up the deployment of SAB?
Please please make sure you let us know if you will be fixing the many dungeon bugs introduced in the last patch too.

Any chance you can fix the bug upon loading in a zone that you’re stuck there for about 30-60 seconds?

I would like to report the bug that SAB is still not available!!!
Hey there. The activation time of ranger axe#3 (winter’s bite ) has been doubled. Now it’ s 1s while it used to be 0.5s.
It’ s definetly a bug.
Will it be fixed with this patch as well?
If you are at it increase the autoattack might duration of ranger axe. 100% longer should be a good start. Oh and warhorn 5 might stacks from 1 to 3.
Patch is in. Let me know if there are any anomalies that we missed on this particular front. Fear interrupt fix should be coming shortly behind this one.

Also, will ‘you’ are working on the Fear code, may ‘you’ look at the condition tick mechanic which is not inline with others.

now i’m confused by the terror trait… i was always under the impression that the fear only did the damage at the cast or rather application of the fear to the target, ie that the damage was a one time event per fear, regardless of fear duration. i was under the impression that it didn’t matter if it was a 1/4 second fear or a 4 second fear, the damage would always be the same ( x with no other conditions, x+y if the target suffered from at least one other condition. )
the trait says nothing about damage over time. that’s why i’m confused.
so you’re saying that terror’s actual functionality applies damage per second as long as the fear remains on the target…
PS: i’ve never played terror necro before, due to my ( mis ) understanding of the trait.
Is this related to the current latency issues being encountered in WvW or is that a different issue? Didn’t really see a difference before or after the build last night in WvW though it was noticable sPvP.

I suspect this was mainly related to the ranger traps and ele vapour blade taking 1 second to cast (instead of 1/2 second) and having a 1 second after cast. Which was fixed.
