Slow should not negate quickness completely
Eh, slow is a heavily restricted condition as it is. I don’t think it needs to be nerfed by having quickness completely negate it.
Base on simple balancing scale, slow indeed is overpowering quickness thus the new formula is questionable.

Let me get this straight:
The current system negates quickness AND on top of that it also slows down your skills.
“Slow will continue to have a negative impact while Quickness is in effect.”
What other negative effect did you think they meant?
With the massive availability of Quickness and the limited availability of Slow, I don’t think this is that big of an issue.

Actually it is the other way around, slow completely negates quickness and on top of that puts your skills on a higher cooldown. Hence my complain.

I don’t see a problem with that … Why is it unreasonable that slow increase your skill coolddowns? It SHOULD have an effect beyond negating quickness, otherwise it’s a stupid skill. A skill like you describe has almost no point existing in this game.

I’m well aware of how slow works currently, and its fine honestly. Its a very rare condition.

LUL what ?!?!?
And why exactly should slow completely overpower quickness?

And why exactly should slow completely overpower quickness?
Because quickness is a more common and slow is less common.

This argument is absurd, by that logic then we should also claim that:
- Reveal should last for 10 seconds because stealth is more common and reveal is not.
… but reveal does overpower stealth and on top of that prevent future stealth applications until it expires.

I mean an argument could be made for skills that cause revealed to cause more reveal than they do (not that I agree with that), but considering that you are revealed whenever you attack in stealth, Reveal has at least as much access as stealth does, since everytime you are stealthed you can choose to reveal yourself.

Sure, go ahead and claim that. No one is stopping you.
Edit: Although the length of reveal isn’t the only thing that could overpower stealth. More classes have reveal than have stealth. Plus, as mentioned above, you can’t attack while in stealth. While reveal can be thrown into your normal rotation without slowing down your attacks at all.

Absurd or not, you still haven’t presented us with a reason for why Slow shouldn’t overpower and provide benefits beyond negating quickness….
