:( So much for all of those planned guild activities and people looking forward to exploring the newly rebuilt city as everyone will be heading off to do whatever this is. That makes me sad. I was looking forward to seeing everyone having a nice happy-party-time without some “threat” to deal with.

It wasn’t I who called it, and unfortunately I do not remember who did, but someone totally called this!

Though luckily, due to the title, this sounds more like some hide-and-seek activity to motivate people TO explore the city, and not some crazy infestation where we have to fight of a swarm of ancient karka (Which I would be totally cool with if they drop precursors still)

Does that mean the patch is going up now? Time to boot up the game!

Did undiscovered sea areas in tengu theritory get more bright blue color or am I mistaken. / Edit mistaken.

/ Edit: one of them has voice line. As well one near seem to be a trader, Kae Mayumi, he seem to work with charr called Rraghk. Chilldren there have voice dialogue about tengu.

Turl is at Commodore Quarter waypoint, and there is a Karka hatchling right next to him.

Just in case that the karka scratching at the bank is driving you nuts, too. Don’t do the JP. It’s double evil, because hard and unnecessary.

Go to Commodore Quarter Waypoint. Head east past the vendors and he is in the corner. Get a gun from him and then shoot the karka scattered and hidden around the map to start the collection. There are 50 of them in LA.

This is pretty funny, I love the way you can hear them and then have to find where they are, I don’t understand why its not counting as an achievement though, since its using the pop up that achieves use, /confused.

This is a far speculation since we still haven’t touched Mordremoth yet, but I think these Karka appearances are linked to the Water Dragon.

the jumping karka over the flowbers in commodores is too hard, im not even sure its possible to hit it? it jumps way too infrequently, the gun isn’t fast enough and even if you do manage to hit the karka it just wont die! im not sure if the rope or whatever is in the way, i do hope you guys tested this out before releasing it??

THe Caromi Scout dialogues is old, but once belonged to a named NPC. Kae Mayumi is also old, and is not from the Dominion of Winds, but is born and raised Lion’s Arch citizen – Rraghk is one of the merchants from LA pre-destruction who, like Kae, lost his business. Seems they became business partners while being refugees.

Agreed. Jumping karka confirmed as BS. Like… They would of course lock the dragonite eater behind something so stupid. There must be a way to hit the Karka directly. A JP to get a better view or something.

I can’t get some of the karka as an engineer as i loose the rifle when i go in the water, probably related to the way kits work on engineers.

I’ve just spent the last 2hrs finding these things – 35 of them at least – and wanted to say that this has been such an amazing amount of fun as I tagged up and had a bunch of guildies and pugs following me around for the entire duration. Met some new people, had a lot of fun with the guild, and enjoyed the content itself a hell of a lot.

Some of those hiding spots are just cruel though, ANet. You cruel, cruel people

There are 3 near Turl. 1 behind him obviously. 1 in the HOuse behind him behind the bed 2nd floor and another on the 2nd floor there another section opposite the bed

Yes. I was able to go in earlier when I was just looking around. Now I can’t get back in, she just keeps saying she is busy and ‘go away’.

You know, I get it that Anet wants us to go look around this map. They obviously put in a lot of work and it looks great, but…

I must be getting old something because I just don’t have the patience for this sort of kitten anymore. I haven’t found a single one of these things that wasn’t posted here. That’s enough of that…
