Stacking Sigils aren't interesting
+ x% Damage/Crit/Condduration aren’t interessting either because they don’t change my playstyle.
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
They are just stat-stacks.
Most smart players then keep two sets of weapons, one that has a stacking sigil, and one with another non-stacking sigil that they swap to once their stacks are full. Losing my stacks is one of the most compelling reasons for me to not die in WvW.

True, but they don’t require you to go out of your way to get the bonus. In an ideal world, they too would be replaced with something more interesting but I think stacking Sigils take priority over them.
Actually in a hybrid type build as I play on my thief I do make choices when it comes to which stack to use.
Sometimes I will take blood lust and sometimes corruption. They do change my play style.
While this more in WvW i also do this in PVE when I am soloing Champions or when I am fighting bosses in a team.
If healing scaled better , I might be tempted to take a healing type sigil at times.
I do not see an issue with the stacking sigils. They DO add variety BUT would temper that by stating that the real issue lies with the relative viability of hybrid builds wherein the focus seems to be on maximizing one type of damage at all times.
Stacking is interesting in situations where you might go down, that extra risk in keeping your full stack is pretty cool.
