I rarely do PvP or Hard PvE, unless it’s organized.
Stupid and impossible idea...

No.
This sounds like what GW1 had with hard mode. GW2 isnt set up for this and will cause the following issues,
Segregation of the community..all making their own demands
Extra work on devs taking away time for new content
As new zones and continents add, the population will be wafer thin per zone
Arguments about who is casual and who isnt as the lines between the two are blurry
Id prefer to see equal content for both groups across the game and the community work together to help less skilled players through harder content, in a mature and collaborative way.. As an MMO should be imo.

Agreed. People are all too quick to jump at each others throats as it is. Last thing I think we need is something that helps drive a wedge even more into the gaming community.
And separating entire servers for ‘leet/pro’ content would do just that.
Impossible idea? Dunno there…
Stupid idea? Eh, no need to be harsh on yourself in the title of your own thread. Tossing out ideas (while not being a total jerk about it) is what these forums should be all about.
… The human race would never have to worry about be oppressed again.”
I think trolls should have their computers smashed. ’Its all part of the game. U mad bro?’
Perhaps, the title says it all? =/
Edit: Not stupid, that wasn’t fair. But impossible in the sense that it would not be healthy for the game in many senses. Sorry.
The problem when you draw a line in the sand, you leave the people in between out.
Oh well, I’m just abit ticked off by the majority of Open world PvE requiring no use of active defenses, mobs lacking variety on stats and abilities, heavily uneven rank ratios in group events and builds that I like to play being quite useless…
Since Open World PvE in GW2= General PvE in GW1… (Sadly for me)
I started playing GW1 since the release, I tended to play solo with henchmen/heroes, only general PvE, and never did PvP or hard content.
Enjoyed the engaging combat there, even though it utilized forced “holy trinity”, I rarely got bored, since I could play any build I wanted…
:(

Mmm would this way it not end up that the casual players are much more rich?
the combat in the game certainly needs to be made more challenging, but not by splitting the server populations
Did you just proposed segregation?
We already have segregation of the community..they all make their own demands already. Just look at the demands between the “hardcore/elite”and the “casuals” We also already have arguments between who is and isn’t casual. Usually when someone tries to insult someone else. I really don’t care for the idea either way, just saying these things are already happening. So…yeah.
