At some point they had added a color key for the password so that if you remembered the color sequence , you knew you typed your pass in correctly. That was my favorite part of login.

But would it look as ‘cool’, if it had all the announcements and links, etc. on it? People already comment on how there isn’t enough information on the Launcher.

not that it is not cool, cause it is, but i think the old login screen just falls under the “Cool but Impractical” trope

Well, I sure don’t want a launcher that takes up my entire screen. However, introducing the OPTION to choose this launcher would be a nice addition (though not at all necessary).

They used to have the option with a command in a gw2.exe shortcut. It was “useoldlauncher” I believe.

This log in screen was my favorite part of the betas. It was a great first taste of the game.

I want this two, at least as an option.
My client is on auto login and i never read the stuff there, as it is just half a second after login into account to start of the game.

I have just a loop of the logo from that as my desktop.
