[Suggestion] Extra Toon Slot is nice, but...
Miku. After a lot of back and forth with Anet, here’s what happened. They denied my request, as expected, and then I referenced your exception for a refund. The GMs told me that you only got a refund because you purchased an extra character slot along with the Ultimate edition. You were to have 3 new character slots: 1 from the loyalty bonus, 1 from the Gem Store, and 1 from the Ultimate bundle.
Wow I’m totally shocked. That explanation of my situation would make sense if I purchased a char slot from the gem store… which I didn’t, so that’s completely impossible.
Read the messages I have sent/received not a single one refrences me purchasing anything besides the ultimate edition.

Just checking in since I said I would report back when I received an answer to this issue. It took a few emails back and forth with support but I too have recieved the 800 gems in lieu of the 2nd character slot. Thanks Anet for your understanding of this situation and for the great customer support.
Huzzah! Got 800 Gems deposited into my account. Had to have my ticket escalated to GM King, so thank you Mr. GM of the Year!
Not sure how this will work going forward, as GM King confirmed with me that their policy of refunds just changed, so I think we got our requests in at the right time.

Are we supposed to be contacting ANet if we prepurchased? I was going to be patient about it, but one of my guildies already got the two slots for Ultimate, but I haven’t.

Your guild member may be confusing the beta slot with the 2nd slot. To the best of my knowledge the loylaty slots have not been sent out yet. If you are due one I’m sure it will be sent when they go out.
The loyalty slots haven’t been sent out, if you are a deluxe/ult purchaser you have the 1 slot that came with the pack, and a beta slot (not the loyalty slot)

This is just more proof that Anet cares about us players. Top notch team Gaile has there.

I do have the character and beta slot, but I’m guessing based on what support said I will not recieve the loyalty slot. Instead I received my 800 gems. If for some reason I do receieve the loyalty slot as well I will contact support to let them know I received something I should not have thanks to their attention to my request.
I have stated several times that I am not upset. A bit displeased but not upset. Maybe people should stop telling me how I feel or what my opinion on the issue should be. I believe that would be a fair agreement.
I guess I have said all I have to say on the issue once again. Hopefully Anet will read this or our forum specialist will forward it to them.
Ok. You were a bit displeased to unexpectedly be given an extra character slot. Displeased enough to be thinking of contacting support about it.

Anet did do right by me and gave me 800 gems in lieu of the 2nd character slot. Thanks Anet staff and awesome customer support!
Keep in mind this probably only applies to the the people that bought the Deluxe/Ultimate prior to the announcment of the veteran loyalty slot.

Well I just checked my account now that the “veteran loyalty” slots were handed out… I got one:/ Sooo I’m submitting a ticket to let them know!
