Suggestion: Hero Point icon changed back
I walked right over a hero point yesterday and only realized it because another player was fighting there – the combination of the indistinct icon with a circle of large stones on the map made the resulting smudge completely unrecognizable.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Yeah I agree. I have to be really alert to see them now.
I agree that the new icon is difficult to see, but I think it would be too confusing to simply change it back at this point if Hero Points suddenly had the Skill Point icon.
Perhaps they could simply change the colour of the current icon to something that is clearer on a map?
is there a setting to change it, cause I swear it right there in my face on my map.
I have to agree, they’re hard to see. They need some more contrast to the map
Thanks for this thread, I kind of thought I’m the only one having problems to find these kitten icon on maps
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
are you fully zoom out or something, cause I have not had a hard time seeing them at all.
Disco Ball icon please Anet.
GW1 Dervish thank you.
Just make the hero point blue so it stands out on our map, I really have to search for them now.

They are not only hard to see, but i also can’t really see the difference if i already
did that one or not
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
I could have sworn there was a thread exactly on this two months ago and a Dev even responded to it
It can’t possibly be that hard to swap/recolor the icon
at least something like the big red armor repair guy icons.
brown hero points on brown maps?? my eyes
Fight the queens
I really have no problem seeing them, however it seems there are folks who do. I think the easiest solution is to keep the icon, so it doesn’t disorient people who are used to looking for it, but add a blue glow outline to it. That would make it stand out more, but still be recognizable to people who have no problem finding it right now.
