I’d like a Calico Cat minipet in the TP. An art file for a calico cat already exists, as there is one walking around by a farm house in Queensdale, near an npc named Cassie. I don’t think it’d be too hard to convert it into a purchasable minipet.

Anet needs to just open up the gem store and stop selling time-limited items.

I understand the impulse purchase marketing strategy, but it is just one possible strategy and there are so many better marketing strategies that don’t leave a sour taste or punish the player base.

Personally I find impulse-time-limited marketing distasteful and underhanded and I won’t support it.
If they open up the gem store, I will gladly purchase the stuff I want, but if Anet only offers the stuff I want in a time limited way then I can live without a new skin and there are other games that I play whose honest marketing strategies I am happy to support.

Anet, Please bring back the Grenth hood, So many wantz!

Lowering the prices or giving people more gems for their money will not only help Anet to look less greedy but also give players the feeling of “oh well whats a few gems” when purchasing items. Players will feel like their money is going further and feel more willing to buy things from the gem store.

The Black Lions chests are underwhelming and the keys are over priced.

Most of the armor skins that have been put on the gem store have been relatively unimaginative. That aside, more new armor and weapon models/skins should be entering the game though game content or just as general drops and less through the gem store.

Some may bash it, but I think its worth considering adding features and content into the game that can also help the gem store grow. For example, player housing. This can offer horizontal progression to the game in allowing players to upgrade their homes and add new things through living story content as well as offer potential upgrade items and themes or wall paintings you find through out the game of concept art that can be purchased from the gem store. Armor displays and weapon racks are other ideas.

Service items are the best items to have in a gem store, however new hair styles, eye colors, faces or any other character creation options should actually be present when creating a new character and not just available through those packs. The actual game needs to be growing, not just the gem store. Players that have invested the time to level up a character they care about are going to buy the make over packs over re-rolling their character if they want any of the new options on their new character anyways.

Yes yes yes! All of this plus permanent (ie not time limited) items in the shop and other quality of life items like permanent toys, tonics and illusions, a race change makeover item and mounts.
So much potential that Anet just squanders by being greedy, stingy and having EA level (junk in other words) underhanded marketing strategies.

I’m guessing this has been said before, if so, it could use to be said again: GW1 Obsidian Armor skins.

Would be a nice throw back for all of us GW1 vets.

reorganize the GEM store, when i look in service i don’t expect boosters and other junk.
i expect character slots, bank expansions and other things to improve my account, things that are based on service.
this is how i would’ve done it:

consumables:
everything that is made for convenience and/or saves time but are a one-time item.

style:
all the skins for your armor and weapons, separated by type.(in both town clothing and armor weight)

boosters:
all the boosters.

finishers:
all the finishers, both current and new.

PvP items:
here are all the PvP custom arena tokens, custom arena time tokens and any possible future items for PvP.

service:
everything that upgrades your account, changes your characters and overall improves your enjoyment permanently. (so all perm gathering tools are here too)

makes it allot clearer then what we have now, i want to see character slots in service, not a tradesman express…

They are allowed to, they develop the game. I care more about having fun with out having to redo the grind. If I’m willing to pay money for that then I don’t see why they should complain…much.

Well I agree it should be free. But I’m simply playing to a pattern from Anet, which is to introduce something in the Gemstore, then eventually make it free. Rendering the item useless.

But I would much rather pay gems for such an item right now, than to not be able to do anything about it right now.

How about an item that lets you move a crafting proffesion from one character to another? I know I would love to buy that as I have characters that I really dont want, but I have to keep around for crafting Or you know, make crafting accbound?

Self Style Hair Kit

Change it so if ‘all’ you change is your hair ‘accessory’ color, it does ‘not’ burn the kit.

This would allow us to buy one and bank it to change ‘only’ the hair accessory color from time to time (to match our clothing dye changes, as an example) without having to spend $3.13 each time.

If we change our hair style, color, anything else related to our hair, then it burns the kit as it does now.

Might ultimately encourage a few more sales, as you’d have to buy at least ‘one’ kit from the gem store to give yourself a perma-hair accessory color changer (if you will).

Seems like it would be a ‘relatively’ inexpensive thing to implement, adding code to check to see if all you changed was the hair accessory color, then not do the step that then removes the item from inventory.

Food for thought.

I would please like a level 80 scroll with the requirement of having 3 characters at 80. Leveling at this point is the most boring chore in the game and i would pay 1600 gems for it easily.

I don’t see why they don’t have that quest every year. There are new people continuously buying the game as well as people from the start who deleted the books. (No comment about whether I have all mine, purely disinterested, of course). Guild Wars 1 had the same quests every holiday. It was fun and looked forward to.

Please, for all those who got unlucky and are in the blackhole of the ladder (for SoloQ expecially, given the new affluence of ppl in there and the infinite drama of 4 vs 5), can we have a Ladder Reset Contract? (to zero obviously)

On a serious note: skin packs for items already in game (unlocks a or group of skin(s) and gives a few charges), unlock reward tracks in PvP (there should be enough people willing to buy this to make it worth making/coding), Unlockable themes to be placed in claimed buildings in WvW (graphical themes such as biomes (forested, tundra, desert) and extra NPC’s ( Norn in Wintersday gear, an eclectic asuran with a bow and arrow running around during valentine’s day, more troubadours), Tonics that could be used during battle like the ones in GW1 (6th year b-day presents).
