I would like to see tonics which we could use in combat. More like the Watchwork Tonic, but PERMANENT. Like the GW1 EL Hero tonics.

They could be disabled in WvW and PvP for obvious telegraphic reasons, but I see no reason why they can’t be adapted for PvE.

Want to play as a Kodan. Go ahead, use a Kodan tonic. Want playable Skritt-chitt-chitt? S-S-Skritt Tonic! Quaggans? You bet!

In GW1, they let us play as Destroyers and Kuunavang. Please let us do the same in GW2.

Zodiac armor without the blue skin, please?

Add a Husk Minipet, its usefull.

Sunglasses for the upcoming summer maybe?

- The dress of mesmer concept art pretty please? (hint: class specific armor? :p) Ok, maybe the stripes on her bust not in semi-translucent fabric (although that would be awesome), but it looks like a sexier version of the DR nobles outfit.

- The fan as a skin for a focus weapon (like in gw1 and the concept art for mesmer for gw2).

- More normal or medievil dresses.

Don’t know how this happened, but it was right after we took over the Altar in EOTM, and I was carrying one of the blue orbs back to the altar (the event that happens right after you cap it), and somehow my character received this cool aura-like animation. I kind of wish it stayed, but sadly it was gone upon logging out, and players around me couldn’t see it. It was really weird, but nevertheless, I wish we could buy an aura like this on the gemstore:

I’d pay for an instant map completion item that opens the map completely for one character. Of course players using it would not receive any SPs, money from hearts, or gifts of exploration, a necessary sacrifice for being lazy. Or at the very least a WP unlocker that unlocks every way point for a character.

I’m just past the point of being able to do map completion without it feeling like a job. I have 100% on 3 characters and 82% on my fourth and I just created my 5th and final character and I barely have any desire to do Queensdale, let alone the entire map for the fifth time xD.

I was really hoping for more GW1 armor sets.

My favorite armor in GW1 was the Marhan’s Grotto ascended gear for my necromancer. The only problem is that Necromancers in GW1 appeared to wear leather, which is now impossible with armor classes.

how so, the materials what the armor is made of doesn’t determine the armor type, if it was then about 30% of all medium armors need to be removed since they are made of cloth

Witch and Wizard Hat. I missed the events and I just came back to gw2 the other day. Didn’t even know these skins exist until I saw some guy rocking Gandalf cosplay in wvw. As far as I know, these items aren’t available in the gem store (or anywhere) at the moment. So can we have them back please?

I have an ele but I honestly couldn’t bear playing him since I can’t find a good outfit. Now the wizard or witch hat would be perfect. So please please bring them back.

More instruments, please. Instruments are what I want the most in the gemstore.

for wvw players:

- race change: if you enter the myst you can change your race as your finishers (it doesnt affect personal story)
- siege weapon skins: sieges have a different skin if you drop them
- real lvl 80 potion: your level is realy 80. You can use armors, skills, traits etc while in the myst
- gesture pack: taunt your enemy with new commands

Please, you must bring back the Grenth Hood! It is the one thing I need for my charr alchemist to hoax paranoid and superstitious cretins into buying my wholly devious, overpriced and irresponsible potions.

How about a mace skin for the holidays that looks like a giant turkey leg. A pumpkin shield or focus that looks like a trick-or-treat bag. Elf outfits for winter’s day.

Heya, Lorelei. Just to note, you can buy the Tormented weapon skins from the Trading Post if you would like to forgo the ticket acquisition side of them. They are between 63g and 180g depending on which skin you desire.

So if you took 180g and bought gems with them, that would make the most expensive skin cost about 1560 gems and the cheapest about 547 gems if they could be bought in the Gem Store. Or can buy gems to convert to gold to buy from the TP for a bit more.

But most of the skins are hovering between 70g and 115g, so most are roughly 600-1000 gems worth of gold in cost (in gold > gem conversion), which doesn’t seem all that bad.

It’s still a bit steep for me. I’d probably buy two of them (scepter and focus, like my GW1 mesmer had) if they were for the same price as Kasmeer’s Staff in the store (which I bought). I feel like they’re trying to induce me to gamble for nostalgia >_<

Speaking of key farming and related issues…

I’d love a permanent hair kit. But I refuse to key farm for it. It might be acceptable to me if they let the hair kits drop all year around in black lion chests. I do have a char for key farming before I decide what to do with her.

I’d buy a permanent hair kit for the price of the account bound perma harvesting stuff. But unless I really really really want to change the hairstyle of a character (I did once, due to matching issues), I won’t buy further kits for individual characters (I’m still looking for a hairstyle that isn’t the super common one that my Sylvari Mesmer has, but yet elegant).

I’m starting to give up hope on cool looking, mesmery town clothes and armor.

There just… isn’t much in the gem store that I want to pay for. And I have some gems to spend for something cool.

basically, stuff I’d buy without a second thought:
perma hair kit
Raven armor (town clothes maybe? I don’t have a norn caster, so I might have a second thought on that)
feature armor for mesmer page
tormented weapons
some Sylvari NPC town clothes (please, the starter town clothes for Sylvari were ridiculous). (more town clothes like cook’s outfit that change depending on race)

I’ve only seen them up a couple of times this past week. So that’s not entirely possible, either. Not to mention that it would take close to $200 to do that. I would certainly not buy it for that much.

I would love to see more rainbow themed legendaries.

When I saw this weapon from another game I laughed hysterically, then wanted to have one in GW2 really badly. I guess it would be a good legendary rifle? Considering the way it’s held as a 2 handed weapon…

I’d also like to see a new rainbow themed legendary greatsword. So every time you swing your GS, you produce an epic rainbow stream. It could be called ‘Spectrum’. I even photoshopped an icon for it. Though to be fair, there’d have to be more of a variety of legendaries for other weapons, before even considering adding more greatsword legendaries.

Black Lion Trader Outfit would be nice to have. It’s already in the game, why not make it available to players.

By “straight sell”, we ask for ex. Permanent Hair Style Kit for ~2000 Gem amongst the GemStore’s Service tab. Not to convert $$$ to gold then buy a 3000g+ item, which is like $300, not $25 or what. (I’ll edit these values later to be correct!)

AN’s Game Monetization Manager aims us to spend our half income in hope we get something with RNG. I don’t belive in this, neither most of you.
RNGods were never favored me…

We should buy BL Keys every week/month, and if a special thing drops (let’s count in Precursors and all the TP Value stuff), we’re lucky and inspired to continue this habit, maybe even more.
I would make it a fair gamble, where you surely get ~75% of your cash “back” in any form.

Many of us live in less welthy countries, EU has huge differences, I think even NA does.
Prices should been synced for region. Make that happen.

Please bring back Marjory Delaqua’s Axe and Kasmeer’ Staff Skins. They are SO cool and since we are now working with them I keep seeing the skins but can’t have them…:(

edit also a return of that clockwork mining tool i missed during the break i took from gw2 would be nice as well, especially since it gives more chances for sprockets

Why am I picturing mining cows and sheep?

Would love to see heavy armor skins that are actually good. Sorry to say cause I know someone put in a bunch of work to make them but heavy armor skins compared to light/medium look terrible. Perfect example of this is the flame set, light and medium look amazing but heavy just looks stupid.

My wish list for gem store goodies:

• Mini Snaff
• Mini Taimi
• Potion that will allow you to become very tiny or very huge for a good amount of time, ie 30 minutes or 15 at least

This should really happen now with the wardrobe update. They could sell a chest like acended chests so we can pick the skin we wants. Maybe sell them in bundles of 5. Or something like that.

I would love to know why “vanity utility items” such as

*Reusable (Molten Alliance and all the other) Mining Picks
*Reusable Harvesting Sickles
*Reusable Tree Chopping Axes

are not for sale ALL THE TIME instead of only occasionally. Not having these items available ALL THE TIME serves as a deterrent to rolling new characters and/or spending time in-game farming materials… not to mention depriving Anet of cash flow…

It seems to me that making these items available ALL THE TIME would be a no-brainer and a win-win all around.

PS: Did I mention that I would like to see these items available ALL THE TIME? My bad.

If they were available at all time people would not feel the urgency to buy them though, since they can just wait until they have the spare gold to buy enough gems.

With the limited releases people that really wants them are “forced” to buy gems with real money to get them, which is something ArenaNet wants.

I’d like account bound harvesting tools that work like the zenith skins, i.e. they allow you to have one per character rather than one shared between characters via the bank.

I bought a copper fed salvage-o-matic, partly for the convenience and partly for the “now I will destroy you” voice. But it has turned out to be a pain to share it around my characters and three of the four have gone back to buying salvage kits.

I was going to buy an axe and pick as well, but I went off that idea in a couple of days.

what i want from the gem store… hmm.. how about the same armor (texture AND mesh) quality for all races\genders for starters, more armors in general (maybe even with class specific designs for a change) skin versions of costumes (aka neatly split up into pieces not only a “1 click costume change” have two versions, costume AND skin), new animations and voices for chars, weight class ignoring transmutation charges (and dont come with the “cant combine different armor weights”…just look at the npcs or your last LS trailer), maybe something like a “tonic splitter” that turns your town clothes tonics into armor skins, a “build switcher” item that allows you to save a build and switch it with a click quickly (occ of course), a colour\style change for your magic abilties\projectiles\whatever else you got for your class to attack….thats all i can think off the top of my head atm.
