2 and a half years and the ears and glasses haven’t returned to the gem store yet the inventors and reading glasses stayed after the wardrobe patch. Anet I swear if these don’t make a solid appearance again during this sale, you are shooting yourselves in the foot.

Bunny ears or bust? Better be prepared for bust. For whatever reason they don’t seem to want to release this.

A piano instrument for the shop, please! Make it where per octave change, the Skill Bar’s interface shows not one row of notes, but two rows of notes players can play at once instead of just one row.

Have been buying stuff up for my characters looks but really wish this item would return even if it was for 24 hours I would buy no matter the price in the cash shop. From a profit stand point you guys could make a lot vs trying to sell these awful side items from the past few days anniversary sales.

*ALSO hoping maybe in the future we will see two toned hair options for human and Norn. (similar to the asura and sylvari) Also add some extra accessory colors to our self style and total makeover kits tab for more hair accessory variety (maybe even unlock our account dyes for it).

If this stuff has already been suggested then I’ll apologise now.

1) A HEADLESS HORSEMAN FINISHER – He comes from down from a path in the sky, parks his cart over the dead player and then poof the player disappears with the headless horseman laughing as he leaves.

2) RADIOACTIVE WEAPONS / ARMOUR – All weapons and armour designed with radioactive / glowing pulsating inlays.

3) GUNBLADE – This brings back old Final Fantasy memories but this would be insane Instead of a player having a separate sword / gun their one weapon could sit in both slots so that it just changes mode when you press the tilde key. Alternatively a mechanical weapon that can change into ANY weapon as a store-bought purchase costing say 2000 gems. To justify the price even further it would need some amazing animations.

I think there should be a time limited (either 24 real time hours or maybe 10 in game hours with a 72 hour expiration) unlimited transmutation device.

This would allow you to adjust all of your characters for a decent cost (800 gems?) but only for a brief period of time. This would be nice for when you want to overhaul a bunch of alts for a big, one time fee, but you have to get it done

It’s basically an all you can eat transmutation buffet!

While you’re at it, how about letting us convert 10-20k luck into transmutation charges?

Also, why not let us reskin our permanent gathering tools with other permanent skins that we already own?

If you really want to get crazy, how about a permanent transmutation stone that lets you do up to a full set of armor and 2 sets of weapons, but it has a cool down – maybe it’s 1 hour, maybe it’s 24 hours.

Betcha that would move some keys…

I’ve given a pass to every sale thus far aside the 25gem shadow/flame dye kits mainly because I’m saving my cash/gems for Tiami’s Dye Kit. It really was a poor idea not to have a release schedule or rather not have the core items for sale early on so people could be freed up to buy your new items and skins. I won’t be buying anything till the end sine I’m waiting on that dye kit. If It doesn’t show I’ll just be one of the many unhappy players flooding the forums the next day as we all know that people are waiting for items like Bunny ears and people have been saying that since the sale started. So there will be a bit of anger if those items don’t make an appearance and this close to HoT that simply isn’t good.

But who cares it’s game I’ll just play something else and have a friend message me if they dyes ever return in the next couple odd years but by then I probably wouldn’t care anymore.

1.A Jason Vorhees inspired outfit

2.Sailor Moon inspired outfit (female) and Dragon kitten gi (males) in the same set.

3.Removal of tonics from the Black Lion chests, they don’t do anything but take up space. Tonics should be made via cooking.

4.New hair styles and colors ^_^ A Miku hairstyle for all females and Akuma and Guile like hair for all males (I believe charr have an Akuma like style though and it’s cool looking)

5.Medium and heavy armor sets inspired by the Punisher (though the skull can be modified to avoid a lawsuit from Marvel)

Sunglasses that when put on would render the game in Matrix-like scrolling characters textures. After all, no-one can tell you what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself…

More than anything id pay 10,000 gems to get the toxic outfit, everytime i go to the wardrobe and preview all the skins till i see on i like for each part (head, shoulders, chest, etc.) I preview the toxic and im like yup thats the one i want, then i realize through the wiki that it takes gems to buy it, i begin to pull out my credit card aaaaaaaand…..its no longer for sale, almost cried myself to sleep that night ;’(

All items ever sold on the Gemstore should be available for purchase at all times, the only thing that should change is the price with sales.

My problem with the current system is I’ll discover an outfit or an item I would purchase, then find that it’s not available for purchase. Years pass and by the time it comes back, I’m over it and don’t want it anymore.

Let people have rare item skins for achieving something extremely difficult or spending a lot of time accomplishing something in-game. But letting people who just happened to be online at the right time to buy something lord an exclusive item over everyone else just seems bizarre (and slightly unethical) to me.

Reading through this thread there are loads of people asking for things that are ‘already’ in the game that have been outright denied for years. What is Arenanet possibly gaining from denying sale of virtual items?

I wanted a Mini Snow Owl once… never seen it come back to the Gemstore, completely over it now. I’m not even keen on mini pets anymore. Arenanet missed out on that impulse buy. Why?

Anyway…

Gemstore suggestion: old style deep sea diving helmets as a skin for aqua breathers. But also aqua-breathers should be transmutable with any head gear, due to the minimal choices of aqua-breathers. Some of them aren’t even aqua-breathers, two of them are existing skins of head items.

Please I beg you, add the following items in already:

Sport Sunglasses
Wide Rim Glasses

With this mordremoth event, a few of the earlier exclusive skins was from the gem shop wich I bought with real money. If I ever knew ther where obtainable in-game sometime, I would just waited.

I feel this is really unfair, and I will always have second thoughts about buying skins ever again.
I know people will reason this with “you got it earlier”, but that’s not the case. It’s the principle that matter!

Y’know they probably didn’t know at the time they released the skins that they’d bring them back in this manner. They couldn’t have marked them as “buy for cash now! But in two years you can grind your butt off for a weekend and choose just one as a reward, if you have the gold at the time!”

In general, if you don’t feel you’re getting your money’s worth on an optional purchase, don’t spend the money.

Looking at the slightly earlier posts, have you guys looked at the CoE dungeon armor? It has symbols on it, at least the Light variant does.

For my own wishes: Sittable chairs, as suggested many a time, preferably as emotes with variants for type of chair and pose in it, but viable as gem shop toys that “costume” you as sitting in a chair (should not be able to move around in it unless it has wheels) with the hotkey commands giving you altered positions. Upper body emotes should be doable while sitting (such as /shrug).

I’ve also previously suggested a champagne tray toy, for New Years, check the November/December postings in this thread. But wouldn’t it be nice to have to go with the Wedding Attire and to toast the launch of HoT?

The difference is that you know when it’s in the gem store that you can get it now

This also applies to when they remove items from the gem store. It’s all part of the sale strategy. The purposely don’t communicate when/if/how skins are coming back, but are sure to tell you when they’ll leave. They do this for ingame event skins as well.

This approach is intended to get you to spend money based on the assumption that they’ll never be avaliable again, but give them the option of returning to items through another sale or event later if they’re short on time to make new stuff.

I wouldn’t expect this approach to change. It should be obvious by now that nothing is sacred in the item acquisition model of GW2. You may not be able to get a thing tomorrow, and the thing you thought would never come back may come back again at a much cheaper or even free cost, or be obtainable by a much easier method, or never be seen again.

Its up to you how to spend your money and time, obviously, but anet has never apologized for this, and there is every indication they will continue to withold or re-introduce rewards and acquisition models however they see fit when they’re short on time or money. The only thing they’ve ever retracted was making the human cultural armor skin available to all races with the original flamekissed skin, and that was only because it competed with a race specific piece.

Plus Cantha is love…and samurai-style stuff can look really awesome on Charr in my opinion.

→as a “meatoberfest”-memorial: “traditional dress” outfits.
- lederhosen and dirndl for Norn (let’s face it the balconies of the norn girls and dirndls are a match made in heaven)
- Alsacian traditional dress for Asura (those big bows/hoods would looks soo adorable in the Asuran girls)
-a mediterranean style costume like Sardianian traditional dresses for humans
-something heavy armor like for charr, because charr look very silly in human fabric dresses like the fancy wintersday outfit demonstrated beautifully. Perhaps something with a very fancy headress like in some mongolian traditional dresses.
I also believe charr look really cool in scottish traditional outfits. the skirts are also probably also easier to design to have this kind of thingie like the weddings outfit, that the tail doesn’t clip so much.
-I don’t know about sylvari… since personally i think they look in their cultural armor the best (the mrdrem outfit is cool for them too though). they just look the best in plant-like armor in my opinion.

As much as I wanna +1 this it would interfere too much with storymode mechanics.

I’d love for the silver-fed salvage-o-matic to return permanently, I’ve missed it both times sadly, it’s a wonderful convenience item and is the sort of thing that the gem store needs more of.

some more home instance nodes would be nice (iron, hard wood, upper level cloth)
