Hello.
I believe it would be worth to increase the range of view and objects display significantly.
I think most of modern machines easily withstand displaying of full location terrain. In addition, you can always lower the option. Now we see, at best, a 1/6 of locations and that spoils most of distant (and even not very distant) panoramas.

And people want “far and beautiful”.

This. It’s hard to appreciate big beautiful open areas when structures on the other side don’t render, and half the screen is is covered in a strangely thick fog.

Only fools and heroes charge in without a plan.

Increased range of view would be greatly appreciated, as long as it is toggle’able perhaps with a slider in the settings so that those without beefy PC’s are able to continue playing with the range of view as it currently is – just to get rid of the risk of increased fps issues it might cause some players.

Well, force people to increase setting is really not necessary. So yes, devs will have to expand the options, I guess.
But the question, in my opinion, is really serious.
This is precisely the thing that turns the concept of “excellent environment design” into “bad graphics”, for many people.
