Changes to classes to make the game much more bearable:
Revision: 1.2 – 6:30 am Server Time thread title updated to be even more Super Srs
Revision: 1.3 – 9:31 am Server Time Elementalist and Engineers now gain the ability to swap between 4 weapon sets, since the other classes had double their weapon swaps
Elementalist:
Attunement CD removed entirely
Second Weapon Set swap set added (so they can use 32 skills instead of 16)
Third Weapon Set swap set added (because 48 skills is better than 32)
Fourth Weapon swap set added (because 60 skills is better than 48)
Boon Duration changed for Arcana: 30% -> 300% (for permanent boons)
boons randomly appear on characters near an Elementalist for more than 3 seconds
Elementalist named changed -> Boon Tank
Ranger:
Rangers should be allowed to use five (5) pets at once so they don’t have to choose.
we felt the original 3 pets out at once was simply not enough
Ranger arrows now deal 50% more damage and are heatseeking.
no other buffs needed to class
Engineers:
Ability for Engineers to use Weapons removed from game. (Yes no Legendaries, sorry.)
Kits removed from utilities and as they will now replace all Engineer weapons
Kits will entirely take place of: Rifle, Pistol and Shield.
Engineer Kits will be swapped by using F5-F8 keys
4 new utilities added to take place of kits
Turrets will now self destruct before they can be placed
Necromancer:
Necromancers no longer have minion summon utilities.
All minion utilities replaced with new, better ones.
summons always active (Every Necromancer is a Minion Mancer + thier chosen spec.)
Wells removed from Necromancer utilities.
Necromancers now naturally spawn wells wherever they walk at random
This now opens up: Condi/Well/Minion, Power/Well/Minion, and Terror/Well/Minion hybrid builds.
Mesmer:
Mesmer gain access to F5-F6 keys.
Portal aside to F5 key, removed from utilities.
Blink assigned to F6 key, removed from utilities.
every Mesmer can now Portal regardless of spec
portal CD reduced to 1/2s
Mesmer utility to replace blink -> Wall Hack
Wall Hack ignores all terrain/walls/objects.
Mesmers now have the legitament ability to teleport through walls and portal
Mesmer gains two new utilities.
Warrior:
GS Warrior deemed too weak and buffed significantly.
100 Blades (Greatsword #2) now applies cripple, and causes the Warrior to become invulnerable for the duration of 100 Blades.
duration now increased to 20 seconds
Warrior is now able to move around while using 100 blades
Warrior stealthed for duration of 100 blades
CD remains 6 1/2 seconds
Axe #1 autoattack changed to bounce 7 times.
damage doubles for each succesful bounce
Axe autoattack still melee, but the bounces gain 300 range per bounce
a successful 7th bounce can travel 2100 range from the Warrior’s starting position
Thief:
Due to Thief being nerfed too excessively recently.
Thief base power raised by 500.
Thief vitality now raised to match Warrior/Necromancer base vitality.
Thief now Heavy Armor Class, and can wear Heavy Armor.
Thief renamed -> Outlaw Star
Outlaw Star music plays whenever Thief is near
Guardian:
Guardian was mostly perfect how it was, but was lacking survivability so Guardian has been given access to Stealth.
All Guardian Utilities now in addition to their normal effects, now grant Stealth.
Guardian renamed -> Ninja
this is due to Guardian’s now having over 25 stealth utilities
Guardian becomes new perma stealth class
Attacking does not remove stealth from Guardian class
Ninja’s cannot be seen, you have to auto attack and hope you get lucky.

1. Rare weapons get same droprate as greens, Exotics same as rare now, Legendarys get the droprate of now precursors.
2. Every armor get a cape connected to it that can’t be hidden.
3. Remove greatswords and replace with pikes/polearms.
4. Every professions gets acces to shields and all shields get a 10 sec blocking skill with 15 sec cooldown.
5. Monsters drop gold instead of silver. (1s now —> after patch 1G)
6. dungeon party limit raised to 15 so no elitism anymore.
7. all armor stats get removed and every1 gets same stats.
8. Not only perma stealth for guards but also for warriors while channeling a 100blades that causes criple (maybe even immobile) and stealth ends after the 100b.

I like the classes changes ideas,is a little different from “change skill effect” and “add new kits” posts,but i just didn’t like the thief idea,it would kill the sense about playng thief.thief + heavy armor = no way

You do realize the whole point of this thread, is for the suggestions to not be serious at all right… just in case you somehow missed the 20 second duration 100 Blades GS #2 skill, that *grants stealth, invulnerability for duration and is now able to be used while moving.
That …and the Guardian getting 25 different stealth utilities.
You know… just in case you didn’t get that the first time. =P

FIX the megaservers. Give capital cities back to home worlds. Lower the population limit for players who stray into the zone. Add/increase the limit for those who taxi in with other party members.
Oh, and replace the anti-swear word kitten for puppeh. Dogs need love too.

Careful you don’t troll too hard. Or else 50 people will come beat you up for your lunch money. Then ANet will nerf your lunch money. They they will still come and beat you up.
Also, most needed item on the patch list, character auto-aggro. I’m so tired of having to walk my character over to a monster before I auto-attack it to death and steal its loot. GW2 would be much better if I could just leave my character near some mobs, go make a sammich or something, and come back to full loot bags.

Introducing popularity system.
People can now like other players chat dialogues and right clik on players and give star for awesome outfit.
Each player receiving a like in game or on the forum or a star is given 1 copper. For 10000 of these rewards you receive a precursor in your mail.
This system replaces any planned scavenger hunt and will be an incitation for people being nice with each other in-game and on the forum
Rangers should have a pet revamp.
All current pets should be removed and should be replaced with Pokemon. Each ranger should be allowed to carry 6 Pokemon and should strive to defeat Zhaitan to become the GREATEST POKEMON TRAINER RANGER IN TYRIA!

You also forgot the 2000% range increase for ranger arrows. Arrows are now flying 30000 units and with the speed of light. They furthermore can’t be blocked, neither by shields, nor by terrain. Noone shall ever say again Bearbow would be weak!

Engineers can only use Elixirs and Turrets, turrets explode after being placed, if they do survive their overcharge abilities should take twice as long as any other class or pet abilities. Their cooldown should be three times that of any other class pet.
Elixirs don’t actually remove conditions anymore, and no matter what solid object Engis are standing behind they get hit with whatever weapon enemies are using on them even if melee at 1200 range warrior range.
Bombs and mines no longer explode they just sit there and blink while enemies dance all over the top of them.
Oh and backpacks should be increased in size to larger than that junkpile backpack since that’s the only way of identifying engis on the battleground, and they should add a few more cages and a hampster wheel to the top just for good measure. They should also make junk fall off of the backpack whenever engis are knocked down, and give us cardboard for a shield, and dust should be continually falling off of the backpack at all times causing only the Engi to sneeze at a moments notice whenever we’re trying to fight something and it moves only 1 inch to our left.
Engineers will get a complete elixir/device re-design, making their skills actually useful.
