I think most people appreciate the hard work going into the fixes in this patch…the criticism comes from the lack of other substantial fixes.

A good development team for any mmo is going to have a laundry list of bugs to fix but will also multitask some of the other issues such as class balancing and general content improvement (buffs not bugs).

Other MMO’s may not have had a ton more resources tied into those areas but even 2-3 improvements beyond just bug fixing would be nice. One patch a week is pretty poor as well.

Most of this stuff looks like beta notes.

It doesnt make sense that you nerfed classes in beta so quickly but can’t find the time to make minor adjustments to so many of the classes that need it.

Thanks Anet for the great patch.

I still feel ANet doesn’t want to touch Rangers for some reason. Spirits and pets need some major looking into. Hey ANet, If you think Rangers are fine then say so. Each patch is moving me closer to rerolling something else.

Yep, thanks for making us wait to play until it was ready!

Actually, I am enjoying the game and will play it for a couple years, but there were a few times I was missing GW1…

You have never done Software Development, have you

Development has to be done before release.
Don’t need to be a software developer to know that.

No, but you do need to be aware that very often projects must be released to the public before they are completed due to financial reasons, lack of resources, or due to poor management.

I am aware of that.
But it does not make it right to release a product that’s not ready.
Should i complain to the shareholders instead of to Anet?
I don’t even know the shareholders, but Anet does, and i’m a customer of Anet.

Thanks Anet for the great patch.

@Hellhound “Duh, but I am responding to his notion that all software bugs should be tested and removed prior to release. This is not possible!”

I for one am not demanding a bug free game, just a lot less bugs.
We’re a month after release and still a large amount of core content (DE’s, skillpoints) is bugged.
