Dear Anet:

Please make it to where when GW 2 forum viewers click the red ‘Anet Icon’ (on the right-hand side of someone’s forum thread) they will see only the comments made by you (Anet) in that user’s thread.

Nothing is more annoying than clicking on someone’s forum thread with 10+ pages of comments and not being able to see only the responses made by you (Anet).

Not every forum viewer wants to go through that (myself included).

Other game company sites that manage forum threads have this feature, for example, when sifting through forum threads on Path of Exile’s site.

The question is why don’t you, Anet, provide your forum viewers with a feature like that?

Well, there’s the Dev Tracker, but it would be nice to have a “Go to first ArenaNet post” button in topics.

The Dev Tracker is hardly reliable for such a situation I am exampling in my OP.

Sure, players can track a particular developer, yet not everything a forum user is tracking from a particular developer is relevant to what that forum user is wanting to know more about.

Allowing players the ability to just click that red Anet Icon by someone’s thread will give forum viewers immediate gratification when clicking on old and new threads throughout the forums.

I suggest fixing search.

JK. Never fix it, it’s more challenging this way.

This is what’s needed. Once you find an Anet post, it’s very easy to move between them. It’s getting to the first one that’s the problem.

They would add features such as your suggestion, if the forum software wasn’t broken, and they had Devs with expertise in said software.

What may happen, in the future, is new software with many requested features, such as a working Search feature, and others.

Oh you mean software that has been around of ages and that community forums use ever since? cough vBulletin cough
