B: How long have you studied the ways of war?

T: I master my art with unyielding patience. Like a great elm, I grow stronger over the years.

B: Can nothing defeat you?

T: Like the oak, I never yield. No one can deny my skill.

B: I walk a gentler path. The branch that doesn’t bend will break.

T: Nothing can break me. No blade can cut me. I am a leaf on the wind.

B: Your path leads through many battlefields. How do you know when your journey is over?

T: It never ends. I travel, and the world reveals its truths to me.

B: You seem strangely comfortable with your violent life.

T: It’s more than mayhem. I meditate. I contemplate.

B: On the battlefield?

T: In the wilderness. The singing of a sword is like a breeze through the trees.

B: Forgive me, but you’re not like other warriors I’ve met. Is your life difficult?

T: I don’t have the size of a norn or the brawn of a charr, but I manage.

B: You carry yourself like a champion.

T: I fight like a sylvari. My blade flows and cuts like a cold wind in the forest.

B: Have you met others who follow your path?

T: Many. Our styles of swordplay are as old as the forest.

I doubt it has anything to do with Mordremoeth. Just a really baddass Sylvari!

hehe its the guy in front of me who is the awesome Sylvari :P

He’s been standing there since release. I specifically remember standing there to listen to him on my first playthrough and being really impressed by how anet characterized the sylvari warrior.

Yes, I remember this guy. It’s amazing how well-written some random conversations are compared to the dialogue in the main story.
