Too many FotM difficulty levels
Not only should there be a cap but, it should also reset every week. At this rate the community will be so segregated that no one will be able to find people to play with.

I think the problem with a reset is that it adds a further gate to content, this way people have the chance to catch up. The casuals that never got past lvl 2 in a week get knocked back down the same as the hard core at level 15, the casuals never get to see the harder content and better loot. At least this way there’s a way to catch up until infusions are required.
Some people will have to stop and help others out, does doing a lvl 1 dungeon to help a friend knock out your lvl 15 status ?

This would be even worse for casual players. Every week you would be forced to farm for hours just to get back to where you were the week before.
Yes, waayyy too many levels with too little difference between them. Not only do we have to grind the gear, but we have to grind the levels? Come on.

Sry but are you nuts? FotM is already way to grindy, why should they make this even worse by forcing you to do the lower levels over and over again until you are lucky enough to get the drops you wanted in one of the higher levels?
The solution to the problem is exactly the other way round: less grind.
Players should be able to freely choose which difficulty the like to run and ascended gear as well as infusions should not be drops but purchasable items for 300 tokens at max. Just get rid of all the grind.

There are too many levels that feel too similar. It makes finding a group for them more difficult than it should be.
My 7th level 1 this week. Still on level 2.
I hear you, mate.
Work around that helps some of the time… just repeat the last difficulty you did if that’s available. If it’s a fast group they’ll keep going.

Why do you do lvl 1 over and over again? I don’t get it.

^^ Yeah, but with players now spread across about 15ish levels you often have to go back 2-3 levels. Which makes it hard to progress.
Imo they should break it up in braktes. I honestly didnt notice an increase in drop rates or difficulty between level 1-5. after lv. 6 we got 6 fractals coin thingies instead of 5! amazing. So the next braket could be 6-9. At lv. 10 agony is introduced and the daily chests have a chance of giving an ascended ring. so make a braket for lv. 10 +.
If that makes any sense. Finding groups should then be a lot more easier that way.

If there is a cap and its low, it doesn’t need to reset weekly. If it reset weekly, then its not progression. Not going to happen

Dont worry. Itemchasenerds will hit “the wall” soon and cry out loud. A-net will give them another carrot…

Some people are in for more challenge, not everyone is an ‘easy token’ grinder. You’re asking me to play Super Mario level 1 over again and again.
