So, i have decided to work towards a legendary and im close to being able to buy a precursor, and i was wondering which one should i go for, i like them both…(but cant spend anymore sleepless nights farming for both)

You should wait for maybe new legendary. Twilight and sunrise are the two most used legedary in game. Everyone that can use great sword seem to have one.

Then you can have more sleep not worry about it.

Entirely personal preference. Sunrise has a slightly cheaper precursor. I know a few necromancer players looking forward to using twilight as a Reaper. They are both nice skins.

I’m doing exactly this! Waiting to see what the new one looks like before I start investing myself.

I hope the new one is more whimsical with a different color scheme.

i built sunrise for my guard, then decided i wanted a more dark-paladin theme.

it’s still not a bad weapon.

I have Eternity and I prefer Sunrise. I’d take a look at the blades for each from different angles to determine which you prefer. Sunrise has a much more colorful skybox and trail, but Twilight has better footsteps imo, since you can actually see the stars/nebula rotating relative to your angle of view. At the end of the day it is personal preference though, and I am glad to have both, but I made Sunrise first and have never regretted it.

twilight/sunrise cost almost the same. the trade off is in the precursor and lodestones used.

It craft eternity and sell it. You’ll get two skins for about the price of one. (Long term goal)

if you buy eternity, do sunrise & twilight skins also unlock?

Yes, once you Soulbind it.

If I got to do it over again, here’s how I’d do it:

• Twilight to use — it’s more distinctive to me and I like seeing the ends of time in the darkness.
• Sunrise to combine with Twilight for…
• Eternity to sell, recouping most of the costs of both.

That gives one the skins of two legendaries for < 65% of the cost of one. I don’t use the “change my stats” feature of the legend often.

I think that’s only at first, when the xpac hits. More should be on the way as the story progresses.

Wait until HoT comes out, see how difficult it would be to craft a precursor, and hopefully have enough to craft both instead?

Who knows, by that time there might even be a crash in legendary prices, allowing you to pick up Eternity instead and unlocking all three skins in one fell swoop.
