Ugh This Looks Bad!
The Legendary Giant Candy Corn… monster… thing.
Mad King Thorn’s army is far more dangerous than the Bloody Prince’s one.
I remember that. The zerg was fighting the candy corn boss. I got downed, nobody ressed me – so I teleported to the res point. On the way back, the skeleton boss took keen interest in my Asura necro and followed me all the way to the zerg. And for the next few minutes, the two bosses tag teamed and killed off the majority of the zerg force…as you see in the picture. It was total mayhem, most people had to use res point at least 3 times before we cleared it all.
Attached proof I was there

Ahh yes, the ultimate form of anti-zerg tactics…make it so the boss can easily take down the zerg with a single move. ;o
PvE Main – Zar Poisonclaw – Daredevil
WvW Main – Ghost Mistcaller – Herald
Nice pic, at least it has a dinamic, if the zerg dont know and is extremly mindless that happen and its extremily funny to see that lol.

Oooohhhh. So it’s your fault! BAD DOG! (Smacks with rolled up newspaper).
The Bloody Prince isn’t the only one weak to candy corn element.
Its always extremely fun to watch that fight since its nearly impossible to die if you actually do the boss fight as its supposed to be played.
I remember fights when I stated in the chat 10 times over how to not get killed by the kitten boss and people still die like lost little kittens. Its takes 1 second to move into a candy field and get the invoulnerability sheild before he launches his candy missile attacks but noooo… All those fancy pants guardians and warrior have to faceroll him (and die) while all those rangers stand there looking cool while shooting a bow up in the air (they die slightly after said guardians and warriors).

Untrue. You forget that there are always other mobs nearby. One cc from a skeleton or mummy may easily kill you in that fight if it comes in a bad moment. And as you can see there are two events running in the same place.

Lol the skeletons and mummies are wiped in seconds even by a few players.
Of course the skeleton boss crashing the party can be a little annoying, but he’s very easy to kill in comparison, its usually the candy count that start his missile phase and kill everyone focusing on the skeleton because they where too narrowminded to realize that the candy count doesnt say “hey that’s OK, I’ll just wait a bit until you killed my buddy”.
If one CC from a mob can easily kill you, you’re either packing too little cleansing or have very weak armor/low HP. A single player can keep the candy count in combat without dying while the rest of the zerg focus down the skeleton a bit further away. Of course assuming he knows the encounter.
Legendary Grand High Viscount of Candy Corn and the Labyrinthian Horror…
Never in the history of Tyria has anyone witnessed a more devastating alliance between two zergdestroyers.
Alatum Interitum
I don’t know how many times I have seen players trying to stay at range and getting killed by the candy barrage he throws. Then they would WP, run back and right into it again like they expected different results. Then others would run in and try to rez the ones that were dead (and should have WP’d) and they get killed too. Wash and repeat.
I meant to mention this. If u look at my pic, you can see a commander pin tacked in the corner, i guess now we know how commanders survive lol, they hide!

If you take that WP that is where you end up entering the labyrinth.

Scarlet must have made that alliance. She loves alliances
And people call this fun?
All that means is that all those dead peoples haven’t learnt to stay within the glaze AOE during the projectile phase, it’s just the learning part of it, some people catch on, while others.. Never do.

Or you got cc’d right before a candy shower. That happens, you know.

Replace people by farmers. :P

Also, i often saw 2 bosses spawn at the same location. You’d be half way through fighting candy corn then the lich would spawn right on top and each summons waves, not nice.
2 bosses spawning at the same time is pretty dumb.
But most of the deaths is because of the general assumption that stacking on the boss = victory in every case, with every class and every fight dynamic. I don’t rez people in melee range for that fight anymore. It gets explained every time, but there’s always a commander saying “STACK STACK” just before all of the melees get downed.
Fight from anywhere, step out of red circles. When you see candy corn puddles, step into them until you reach 5 stacks of the buff. Step out for a couple of seconds, step back in the puddle until the missile phase ends. Repeat.
You mean the Labyrynthine horror, right? Lich spawns on the other side of the map.

Candy corn fight is really easy if you pay attention to what is happening. If you just zerg and stomp on number 1, you will die a lot. Unfortunately that is the common tactic of many players. Then they complain that it’s too hard.
It helps if you have even a single mesmer to throw a bubble on the viscount when he starts the barrage. The Candy corns bounce back to him and knock his butt on the ground, allowing people more time to get in to pink puddles.
And people call this fun?
Yes!
Since we’re practically facerolling most of the content, it’s nice to see that we’re underpowered (or noob) for a while.
lol
