WXP account bound. omg so happy! alt fun time!

I just saw the article too. YESSSSSSSS… No more having to do a rotation through my alts to bring them all up to speed. I can just bring my Ele for Keep sieges, Warrior for roaming etc., all depending on what I feel like doing that night.

Where is this news? I’ve been a huge advocate for account bound wxp since it was announced. We who asked for it were bashed by other players. Glad to hear anet recognized our concerns as being legitimate.

I must say I am happy to see anet is actually making progression. Somehow I could not find that thread which devs denied request of making WXP account bound long time ago. It will be fun to read at this moment.

Wait, they test things? XD I can’t wait. I’ll be able to play my Guardian and Necromancer in WvW w/o feeling like I’m wasting my Thief’s potential rank points. ;s

Now, it’s time to make legendaries account bound. Please make it happen arenanet !
Let us play with our alts whenever we want, more alt friendly game, more fun without obsessing on one class.

Also ascended trinkets can be account bound even after use too. They aren’t gold sinks, they are bought with laurels, commendations or fractal relics/drops. We would make new builds easier on our alts this way. These would make player community much more happy.

I was 99% sure of this will come anytime so i surprised just %1 of what i normally d be surprised.

Now the only thing we need is an NPC that will allow us to reallocate World Skill Points to different traits for a price, and we’re good to go.

Lots of fantastic quality of life changes lately anet, thank you.

Also, let’s hope ANet remembers to make the WXP Boosters account bound instead of soulbound too.

We will be adding more liquid WXP that will be purchasable, likely with badges and some other currency, soon. As in, less than a month. I’ve made it a personal goal to improve the experience for playing alts in WvW. And to cut it off now, we are not making WvW rank account bound.

How about account-shared character levels? New alts that are not limited on what zones they can play in? Full trait spec from the get go? The leveling system is already pretty pathetic and feels like an afterthought…

How about account-shared character levels? New alts that are not limited on what zones they can play in?

That’s probably going too far. I would like to see Ascended Quality gear become account bound. That way I only need to acquire whatever stat combos I want. Rather then acquiring however many stat combos I want times how many alts I have!

Maybe not ascended, but legendary weapons become account bound would be nice.

All I have to say: FINALLY.
Now I can take my alts to the mists when I don’t feel like playing as a ranger and still have skills to help the Toast.
