People who constantly whine, cry and complain in the forums. You know the type that when you take a look at a majority of their posts they are constantly spewing their self-obsessed ire to all who will listen. These are the ones who lack the wherewithal to contribute constructive criticism in a well thought, logical and considerate manner.
The ones who consider their one line sophomoric witticisms to be the epitome of all that is wrong with the game and admonishing ANet, with statements of “It’s that easy, Done!”, when they have absolutely now clue the objective complexity of the situation beyond their Me Me Me/Now mentality.

I think it’s completely unacceptable for a game to rely on a third-party website for group finding in this day and age. But everyone on these forums seems perfectly happy with it.
(Although I’ll say one positive thing – at least since the recent loot changes, gw2lfg isn’t 49% COF 49% Fractals 2% everything else combined any more)
“Play how you want” should NOT mean “able to clear all content.”
today I saw a post by an ele complaining that in full pvt gear and a staff they were having trouble in the gauntlet and that it should be nerfed so they can get the liandri mini pet.
This attitude that no matter what you do you should get a trophy for trying makes this game an absolute joke. If everyone gets the same participation trophy why even try to play better? We need some harder content that not everyone can clear on first try in whatever spec/stat/gear combo they feel is best.
In all honesty, I think the Ele is right to some degree. In a game like this that doesn’t have roles, Anet has to realize that you should support all stat combinations when creating content.
Not talking about the Liandri fight in particular as that is a fight with one shot mechanics and a shoddy camera. Has little to do with what gear you are wearing for phase 1. Maybe phase 2, the “DPS” phase. But if you are lasting to the time limit…maybe there shouldn’t be a time limit.
No, you shouldn’t support all stat combinations. People have to accept that some just don’t work for the content they’re taking on and actually use their brains, this entitled mentality is why we have dumb living story updates where you smash auto attack to pick up loot and then when a boss like Liadri is made, endless hordes of QQers cry for nerf because they can’t do anything besides smash one and pretend to tank a boss with oneshot mechanics.
If you aren’t going to have a reason to have certain stat combinations, then why have certain combinations? As I said, Liadri fight is more about mechanics than gear, but the ele has a point…
If you have the option to have certain builds, then why can’t content be done with them?
Also, when it comes to liadri, let me know when there is a build for any class that can do here with 6 gambits. Hell, I’ll take 5 for that matter.
The stat combinations are there for WvW and PvP where they’re actually relevant. In PvE you just need berserker, and with this update some classes may even get mileage out of assassin gear.

Oh, did I hurt your feelings? And you are entitled because it’s people like you who expect to just be given the Liadri mini without putting any effort or innovation in to your build and gear which is the whole point of the fight.
I’ll tell you what I hate, people who get mad at others just because they have a different viewpoint. Why do you have to get mad just because somebody tells you your gear or build is bad? It’s not a slight on you, when I got told to completely change my build and gear around because my PvE build was bad for WvW guild raids I just said ok and did it.

“Thanks for the party” I know it’s just being polite and all, but it just sounds off. It’s like someone saying “I love you” and you replying “thanks”. Of course I can’t be bothered to make up a new phrase so I use it myself…
It’s the F key. It always makes you loot when you want to activate, talk when you want to loot, pick up some rubbish when you want to revive, and so on. It’s an interface that doesn’t let players do what they want to do, yet nobody else seems bothered by it.
Having no real hardcore elements apart from grinding out for a shiny weap that adds nothing special in stats. Not that that’s bad, but the only somewhat hardcore element to the game. But really, there is just nothing hardcore about this game. Some hardcore stuff would be good imo. Content is delivered in quick spurts, 20m and you’re done in most cases. It’s like zerg mentality. If there werent temples and boss pre-events, I would have packed it in long ago. But even that is pretty quick and easy as it is.
And no, I hated WoW. Think old school. uo, eq1, swg etc etc in their early days. There were things to do that consumed hours, days, even weeks. Not just farming to assemble a pretty weapon.

something more simple:
Game maps mini and full.
Nights that are not so dark.
WP’s and quick travel.
No item damage/loss
Food buffs rather than food survival.
There’s a lot of things I hate, but I’ll just keep it to one major one.
I hate people who settle for mediocre instead of the best.
For instance, those who always say “bugs are in every game. It’s just how games are”. Or “games will be buggy. Stop complaining about it”. No, sorry. We shouldn’t settle for this. This is why games are buggy and never get truly fixed. Cause the video game community has gotten so used to buggy junk, that they are now settling for it and think it is the norm. I don’t care if <insert other MMO> has bugs as well, that doesn’t mean that GW2 should be allowed to be buggy.
Stop settling for mediocre junk, and start expecting better. It’s the only way stuff will get fixed and game companies will strive to be better. Game companies have been shipping half-made games and buggy content all because players expect it now. Raise your bars and start expecting better. We shouldn’t expect the norm to be buggy unfinished games. We need to start expecting the best so game companies will stop giving us junk.

From what I’ve read, you won’t dislike the one they’re working on here. The way it was described on an mmorpg.com article was that the tool would allow you to see groups forming or put yourself as looking for group for specific dungeons or for fractal, but will have no automatic group forming (you have to talk or join groups yourself) and no automatic dungeon teleporting. So it seems it’ll mostly be the same functionality that the website offers but in game.
BTW, I also hate that, the perfect LFG tool in an MMO for me was like the one on WoW around TBC, no automatic group forming or teleporting to dungeon, you just saw groups forming or people listed as looking for group for specific dungeons and had to whisper them to ask for an invite or send one.

I hate that we can’t move individual chat windows around so I can see more than one chat at a time.
I hate that the guild menu is so lacking.
I hate Bifrost’s rainbows that it generates on the guy running in front of me. Not sure why…just don’t like them. Might be that they’re just too…too…“cutesy” for me.
I hate they are going to force me to craft to progress my character.

I hate all the kitten RNG boxes. Every event that comes out with a good skin, i get excited then i realize I probably wont get one anyway so it might as well not even exist for me.

(Someone else mentioned this, but I agree with them) I hate that warriors have better rifle skills than engineer and better bow skills than ranger!

For me, it’s the crazy sizes of the weapons in this game. Greatswords and hammers are as long as a character is tall almost, and by the size are far too heavy to even be swung by a single person.
Daggers look like swords, swords look like greatswords, greatswords are over-the-top unrealistic(i know it’s just a game), and WE DON’T HAVE TWO HANDED AXES
I also find the content non-compelling and boring, at least while leveling.
Allowing ppl to keep posting on these forums even after they have been ban for a week or so also ppl who have not played GW2 in 3 months + who “troll” on the GW2 forums with no repercussion.

You don’t understand game development. Games have always been buggy. Always. It has nothing to do with player expectations and everything to do with the reality of programming and the vastly increasing complexity and scope of today’s games.
