So this is what happened.
Used to be when i would preview a transmuted item the aspect showed in the preview panel was that of the skin picked during the transmutation process.
Now when I preview it shows me the base item of the transmutation ( the item that gave the stats).
When did this change( Couldn’t find anything in the patch notes). WHY did this change?
Is it a bug? is it legit? is it here to stay?

I find it terribly frustrating since I now have to equip pieces of gear in order to preview them together making my bank and inventory space a mess. The old system was better( I’d like to ask others for their opinion as well) imo.

So – if it’s a bug – please fix it.
If it’s a change – at least tell us why. Personally I’d like it changed back.

This was intentional and it was in some patch notes. I couldn’t tell you which patch it was, though it was fairly recent.

You can still preview several pieces of equipment together

don’t close the preview window or click ‘clear preview’, then select the additional item(s) to preview and it’ll be added to it.

Doesn’t he just mean that preview shows the original piece, so to get the transmuted skin you have to equip?

That’s what i mean.
WHY would they change this? What was the reason for this?
Why aren’t players saying anything about this? Are you guys ok with this change?!
