What i'm gonna do now?
Tbh, i just stockpile money.
I do daily farm of orichalcum and ancient wood on all my chars (i have 4) and just stockpile the ingots and sell the wood planks.
After my first legendary, i made Frostfang, i did lose that goal that keeps you logging in every day. But after a while you get over that, and just start doing things you didnt try yet.
Like, do some PvP, some dungeons, Fractals in the next update will be very helpful.
Try out some different builds, now im on my 5th i think for my WA.
Next ill probably go for trying out some build for my Guardian.
So just mix it up, dont think oh theres the end of the road. Set different goals, like get 1k of gold, and a full stack of globs, t6 mats, etc.
Start getting all the minis, maybe do some Black lion Key farming, etc.
well WvW is an issue, because you know is awesome but if your server is really bad then you dont enjoy it at all most of the times… it could have been the perfect end game (alongside with LS) but the server population unbalance ruins it!
It’s time to go outside.
I think the best part of the game is leveling up to 80 the “usual” way with other people alongside you. So, you know, if you have friends. Or if you’re sociable.
I enjoyed helping random people get to vistas or complete renown hearts more than anything else that I can remember.
I know GW1 survived with its huge amount of horizontal progression, where you could always experiment with new builds and hundreds of skills, which isn’t really an option in GW2. Which is pretty lame.
I feel ya OP. It’s even worse with Engineer. Everything feels counterintuitive when they made back pieces and weapons rather limited visually. Makes shooting for those goals a bitter pill to swallow. For me, I would focus on WvW if my CPU didn’t suck so hard. I swear the things made of wood /sigh.
For me the only thing keeping me in-game is the WvW community. On several servers there are organized WvW-only guild that are usually made up out of nice people. It’s lovely to go fighting in WvW side by side, and getting saved, or saving them. It creates a bond and I love it.
