All of my dreams would come true for the promised housing prior to release, that got pushed back to “not on the radar” after…
Nothing in particular, as probably anything I want will either not be finished or will be pushed farther out (precursor crafting/building). Stuff I’ve never thought about needing will probably get done first.

Obviously I don’t expect all of these but I would wager a few from this list will find their way into the game.
Cooking and jeweler 500 will most certainly be introduced and pre cursor crafting/scavenger hunt, if we are lucky.
Alse Edge of the Mists map will come out then.
Apart from that, i expect a new balance and polish patch with some QoL features.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
All of my dreams would come true for insert italian subtitles. We can so finally enjoy the plot and the events.

This is the closet post to what I’m expecting. Which is why I was so surprised when many players started screaming it’s an expansion. I like your wishful thinking list as well, but agree it’s not going to happen (except maybe Precursor crafting — that’s the most probable on the “not probable” list).
Well… Expecting and Wanting is something different.
I would want:
- New PvP game mode
- Accountbound WXP
- A new class/race
- A few new maps
- More engaging dungeons
- Combat templates
- Stats removed from gear
- Skin database
- Housing
- Guild Halls
I expect…:
- EoTM
- Accountbound WXP
- Maybe second PvP patch
- 2 blues and a green

More unbalancing, more gear with other name and brighther skin, more overflows,more zerg,overflow WvW map just becouse yes, more skrits.

So there’s a lot of hype flying around about the big feature patch after LS season one (reference http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-01-14-you-thought-that-was-it-for-guild-wars-2).
I read the article different than most people apparently as I view features as game mechanics (not content).
So what new features are you expecting in this giant March patch?
There are so many Features, which I am expectign to see getting implemented in the future, ranging from small scale to grand scale…
The most obvious Features I’m expecting right now are:
- Skin Wardrobe
- Accountbound WvW Ranks
- Accountbound Dyes
- Precursor Crafting
- Housing
- Improved Commander System
- Added new existing Weapons and complete new Weapons
- New playable Race – Tengus
- Legendary Accessoires
- New 3rd Soldier Class (Lancer)
- New Legendary Weapons
- Rework/balance of the complete Underwater Combat/own Underwater Traits
- New explorable Maps of Tyria, like exloring some parts of Crystal Desert, Maguuma Jungle or the North of the Shiverpeaks where the HoM is reintroducing the HoM for GW2 in its own Style.
Just basically alot of stuff, that we, the community were talking about over the last months and have suggested basically over the course of the last year as also things, that haven’t made it into the game last year as it has been supposed.
Briefly said, I just expect from those huge Feature Patches, that ANet shows us finally, that they can hold onto their words that they say and that they show us, that they can and WILL make really also Patches which add new content of the size, that you would usualy expect from expansions, that massively improve the game with very impactful new content, features and new gameplay mechanics ect.
Feature Patches should bring massive changes and improvements to the game, not fearing also to work on redesigns of existing systems, if needed to bring the game back on the right path.
Player Housing where the vast majority of the items can be purchased for karma and made by Artificers. That would be incredibly nice.

What do I expect? Maybe some bug fixes and life quality changes! What do I want? What I said plus customizable Home instance, trait templates, multi-profession system and new abilities!

New skills, including weapon skills, a general rebalance pass, some (probably flawed) attempt at addressing the condition issues in PvE, a way to craft a few new legendary items, and possibly an initial implementation of a skin locker.

This would be the minimum I expect. They have been working on these “big projects” for 18 months, and keep talking about “expansion type content” but we have seen none of it since the game launched. This in my opinion is the last shot the game gets to deliver.
Gonna try and keep my cynicism to a minimum here and in order to do that I’ll have to write about what I hope to see rather than what I expect to see.
Hopes:
-New zones to explore that aren’t pointless like SSC has become
-New non-gemstore armor sets that showcase the art team’s potential
-New non-gemstore weapon sets
-New skills, and perhaps even a system akin to the rune system in Diablo 3 where we can fine-tune individual skills (yes this one’s a real longshot but one can hope)
-Heavy duty balancing to current skills
-New goals for WvW rather than zerg this zerg that
-An adjustment to the current DE system to make them more worth players’ time
-Maybe some new permanent dungeons, though I would totally accept further balancing of the current ones in lieu of new ones
I expect:
- The start of a skin locker.
- ONE new weapon added to each class.
- ONE new skill added to each class.
- A few balance/bug fixes.
- A “memento” of Scarlet in the gem store.
- A sale on character slots in the gem store.
And that’s pretty much it.
I really hope I’m pleasantly surprised, but I’m not getting my hopes up. I’m worried they’re too high already.

Id like to take this time out to say martial artist is the best new class idea possible, I dont think they can create a new heavy with a different playstyle/archetype really, even though they said they would want to do that so there is 3 of each.
