I am relatively new to this game but i enjoy the festivals like halloween, wintersolance and chinese new year – but i noticed that all those festivals are held in human citys? Therefore does anyone know when the charr meat festival is?

And can i buy clothes tgat are made out of meat and a chicken wing glider?

(Also i am wondering about summersolance, will it be in a human location as well or celebrathing spirits with norns or the sun/nature in geberall with silvary?)

Jokes aside, I would also like to see other cultural events for the other races. There are none currently, I think.

Unfortunately it’s not what you’re specifically hoping for, but…

In the NW corner of the Diessa Plateau is the village of Butcher’s Block where the Charr are celebrating Meatoberfest year-round.

The only thing to do up there is a Renown Heart and 3 events. There’s no meat armor skins, no meat-themed gliders, nadda. Sorry. edit: I stand corrected on this point; see Sariel V’s post below.

I wish it were made into an annual event the likes of Halloween, Lunar Festival, and Wintersday. As part of the celebrations, Charr vegetarians could go to the Grove for a tasty “salad” alternative.

• Teach a drunk a lesson
• Beat on a big wurm
• Steal its eggs
• Escort the charr bringing meat in
• Defend the norn bringing ale in
• Light off fireworks

Items of interest:

• Meatoberfest Spoon (for Koutalophile collection)
• Meatoberfest cup (Chalice of the Gods skin for a pittance in karma)

It is kinda sad how other races don’t have many seasonal celebrations or festivities. I mean, the charr could definitely celebrate the victory of the charr rebellion led by Pyre Fierceshot over the Flame Legion. The sylvari, being a very new race, could potentially celebrate the emergence of the Firstborn. The asura could remember the loss of the dwarves, I dunno for them really? Then…the norn’d probably just get drunk once a year.

Norn. Timberline Fall, NW corner at Kyesjard POI there is an ongoing 365 days a year feast and drinkathon.

Meatoberfest isn’t really a racial event, it’s an excuse to party, eat, get drunk, fight and pass out.

I just wonder if Asuran tossing is included anywhere, as opposed to dwarf.
