World-changing, life-affirming content, yes! You’re half-right – Super Adventure Box is all that and more! The kind of update that puts a kick in your step, vim in your vinegar, and restores faith in that good ol’ Asuran ingenuity!

Let’s face it, these are trying times. Capital city? Destroyed. Dragons? Probably about to rampage and immolate us all. What can be more important than the revival of Super Adventure Box, if only to diminish these anxieties?

To quote, then, my good friend Azure – and I quote verbatim – “More Super Adventure Box, please!” Tomorrow will be too late!

For me personally SAB is the best thing in GW2 ever. It’s quite sad that they just gave up on it.

So much this! I have a little girl, 8 years old, who has been coming home from school every day for five weeks asking if that april-fools box is finally open again . She still remembers watching me play last year, and was severely disappointed that the SAB didn’t open up again this April 1st .

At least give us the option to get those world 1 and 2 tribulation skins. Since the wardrobe has returned to make them even more useful. Gives us some thing to do while we wait.

Yeah, if new SAB content isn’t being worked on to prioritise other things, then could we at least have worlds one and two back? It offered a lot in the way of variety to the gameplay, and it would be nice to farm the skins while not on a time limit… Actually can we just have those worlds back regardless of whether new SAB is being worked on please

I’m going to make a wild guess here…

I remember World 1 was super popular with almost everyone. But when World 2 came out it received a more rocky review
So they might be trying to make World 3 better and more fun, without all the negatives from World 2.

I’ve also heard rumors that Anet didn’t like Josh Foreman posting about Super Adventure Box on the forums and locked him in a dungeon. Unfounded, of course. (Or is it….?) O_o

I’d rather they put their efforts into decent , permanent content, than immersion breaking fluff like SAB…God I hate it so much

They don’t need to put any more effort into it though. Just bring back World 1 & 2 exactly as they were.

Now would be a perfect time to release it (or even better a few weeks ago) when there’s no Living Story going on so players who enjoy it will have time to devote to it without missing out on something else.

Exactly. Don’t need a new world, don’t need any lore or cutscenes. Just turn it on and give us something to do in the quiet period between seasons (and, ideally, don’t turn it off again).

I’d like it to come back for a bit, just to have something, well, not exactly new to do, but different. Also I’ve been working on my jumping/general gameplay skills and maybe want another crack at World2.

Super Adventure Box is in Rata Sum, just up the stairs from the portal to the portal hub. (formerly LA, now VK.)

SAB hasn’t gone anywhere. It will be back in September for Back to School. The original world was an experiment. It was turned out for April Fools because they didn’t know how it would be taken. It was adored so they put a real team behind Josh Foreman to make it a reality. They built World 2 and worked it into the schedule for return, giving it the Back to School time slot. While some of us hoped it would return for April Fools again, that’s not how it worked out. Expect it once a year in September, just like Wintersday is in December and Mad King Thorne is in October.
