It’s Mad King Thorn’s illegitimate son from his illicit dalliance with a certain well-known Charr siren.

A norn in a wolf transformation keeping their clothes on somehow? Maybe?

I would say he’s most likely a Sylvari. Compare with the second and second-to-last hair styles:

If the October 8th release does involve Twilight Arbor or the Nightmare Court, that would certainly explain why there’s a scary-looking Sylvari on the release preview. He doesn’t look much like Canach, but then again, neither does Canach, so it’s anyone’s guess who he is or how he’s involved.

I can say it does look like a Sylvari at first glance. But the build doesn’t really match Sylvari, looks too bulky, not that it can’t exist.

I have to say first thing I thought of looking at it was some kind of Werewolf. Which is quite possible considering the next update has to be something to do with the Mad King/Halloween. /shrug

The face definitely resembles that horrible piece of Rox artwork where she looked like a human in mid-transformation into a werewolf ala ‘An American Werewolf in Paris’ (awesome movie).

Looks like a evil mastermind Sylvari. Holding what appears to be a staff of some kind. Probably will have to do something with all the other Sylvari stuff going on currently with Scarlet, Caithe, and Twilight Arbor
